Watching primetime variety show here in our country last night, there is a portion that the contestants will have to say something to whom they are with at the studio and vice versa. One of the contestant's mother told to her daughter something to think of. This is what she said:
"As growing teenage, I will give you the FREEDOM but you must pay me HONESTY, then I'll will give you TRUST as your change."
The host was really amazed about this food for thought which is really true for a parent and kids relationship especially nowadays that teenage kids wants to be free from their parents guidance.

Very well said, I also have a teenager son and its true that through Honesty they will earn their Freedom and I wanted to say to him the same way that the mother said and I believe that through this saying the bond between a mother and child relationship will stay strong.

Having this type of agreement really brngs a good bond on parent and child realtionship. This will also make parents not to worry even their kids are far away from them.

i love this saying. it really is food for thought. i have a teenager and i know this is true. i want his trust and his honesty. i want and need him to be honest and trust me enough to tell me the truth no matter how bad it is. this way, i can trust him and give him more freedoms.

Yes this is a really good quote that can be taught to our kids. I don't have a teenager kids as of now, but when I already have, I will keep tell this one to him.
You can tell this to your teenager. Just be honest to you and you will keep your trust on him/her and will keep his/her freedom.
Thank you for your response.
