I have seen people on ebay selling cds which they have made themselvess containing images from websites. One person has collected star wars images and made them into a cd another animal pictures?
Is this allowed by ebay or not?

It shouldn't be allowed, because that is encouraging piracy. If you see anyone doing that in ebay, feel free to report abuse. It will just taint ebay's reputation.

Yes I think so. You cannot sell anything which are not yours in the first place. And if you think that person is selling those their are bars there in ebay "report abuse" I think.

It depends where do these pictures come from, and who made them, there are a lot of blogs and flickr with copyrighted pictures, I think even if it doesn't say anything, it is wrong and dishonest to take them to make a profit. Except if the person that made them says they don't care or the pictures they made are free to use by everyone. But this is something that doesn't happen often.

Ebay does not condone Pirated movies, images,or fake products being sold on the site.If they're "Star Wars" Images,George Lucas would have something to complain about...
Most PD images and software is free to distribute so long as the original writer or producer gets credit.this may not be the case if somebody is making their own cd's and selling them on.
Also,if they're creating these CD's from stuff they found online, why pay them for stuff you could find yourself?

Hi there. I am not sure what are the policies and conditions in ebay. But I know that it is really illegal to sell pirated CD's. I don't know what will ebay do to that case.
