How do you know if you're already successful?

Success at work is not bad after all! That's what keeps you going at the office everyday. Like from time to time you have to stay motivated in doing better each day. And as you punch in and out of the day that was paid for your labor; you know you did your best ^_^-) Nicely said for describing your personal success; and as for the popular quote from Hunger Games; "May the odds be ever in your favor!" Craving for more for the better keeps you thinking that you should look forward for more to improve. Is that what you mean about that? Uhm, not really. My point is that there are some people who have already achieved so much in their life yet they cannot be contented with what they have. It's actually not always for the better, it's not always for the improvement. Sometimes it's just not being grateful with what they already have when some people have been struggling to get what they have too. In my life, I think I am successful when it comes to love life. Hehe. It's the only aspect of my life where I am really successful. Because I am so contented with it. Even though in the future I hope to get married, as of now, I'm very happy. I'm not successful yet with my education and with career and with my other goals.

Great job! If you're happy with it then all you need to do is to keep working on it. You wouldn't want to continue doing something that you don't want to do, right? Happy mylotting at home ^_^-)

Reassest yourself each year is important. You've got a point there. For this one; checking yourself for a better goal is also a great opportunity to learn what else do you need to improve about yourself. What's good about self-assestment is to motivate you more for achieving a better goal and for your thoughts about it; I do agree about that and I understand what you mean about checking what's more achievable for you

Many people can eat three square meals, have a car and live a middle class life, but they don't think they are successful. Many people think of being successful as being wealthy and having luxury cars, a mansion, wearing designer clothes, affording the priciest hotels, expensive jewelry, etc. The mainstream interpretation of success is accumulation of financial and material possession. And that's what it really is. I think success and happiness are two different things. Happiness is 'satisfaction' and not success. There are many celebrities out there who are successful but don't have happiness. Even if they aren't doing good with their personal life would we say that they're not successful with all the fame and cars they got? No. I think when someone is successful it means that person has accumulated financial and material possession, you can forget about his personal life. What he does behind closed doors is a different story, that is talking about 'satisfaction'.
