Dust on my laptop.

i am not that particular about cleaning my laptop, just once every two weeks is quiet sufficient for my lappy, but by that time it gets really dirty and i make sure the cleaning solution is of high quality..get dust is inevitable so i dont bother much about it....if u want ur laptop to be very clean, why dont you use a toothbrush to clean in between the key it helps me alot..just brush lightly..

I used to clean my laptop everyday. But I notice that my laptop accumulates dust everyday so I stopped bothering. When I finally can't handle the dust, that's the only time I clean my laptop. I know it's a bad habit but it's bad for me to waste cotton/tissue to only wipe my laptop everyday.

Not as often as I should. I do try to clean it as often as I dust my house, but there are times..especially lately that I have skipped over it. It is so important to keep them clean for optimal performance.

I used to clean my laptop with a soft cloth and with a brush. I used to make use of the brush to make the dust out from the spaces between the each keys and I make use of a smooth cloth you clear the dust on my screen.

I am really bad about cleaning my laptop. It's embarrassing to admit, but I only clean it about once a month. I don't bother with it until I realize that I'm having a hard seeing through the dust..lol. It just doesn't cross my mind to clean it.

Every day. I have to clean my laptop every day because of a rather nasty cat hair problem.There is also a building site near right now and despite the fact that we live on the 8th floor white dust still finds it's way through the windows.I use a special piece of very soft material to clean my screen but the keyboard is a real problem. I usually use a soft paintbrush to clean it although it's not really effective and I don't know a better way to do it...

It seems like mine gets dusy everyday too! I hate it. I try to keep it dust free but I live in an old house and that seems like an impossible challenge!

My laptop gets clean whenever I see some dirt. Once or twice a week probably. I turn the board half way over and knock as much dust and debree out of under the keys as I can. I have a little soft bruch I use too. I don't mess with it too much. Afraid I will try ot open and get all the clogs of dust out and might damage something.

i seem to have way to much dust in my room. my son just sprayed out my computer (its a big one not a laptop) a couple months ago. but now he could here the laboring sound of it yesterday and said it needs done again. so obviously i dont know if its the age of it, if its to full, or just that my room is/has to much dust

I don't have a lap top as I am content with my desk top pc and here too it collects dust but not to the extent you have been talking about. I do a thorough clean up once in a way using surgical spirit which is what my technician has been recommending.

hi there lynboobsy11, my routine in cleaning up my machine is every after two days. and i am just using a soft brush to wipe out the dust. what i am doing to protect it from dirt, i am using a medium sized clothe to cover when it is not in use. hence in this way, it is protected from dust.

Hi there, I just clean my laptop when I feel I need to. So, there's no certain schedules that I should clean them. I wipe my screen with soft facial tissue and clean my keyboard with tissue that I give few drops of hand sanitizer gel. Just to wipe out the germs on keyboard.

My laptop requires cleaning very frequently. Since I use it in my workplace and also outside. Further my son plays game in it, so very often i found snack crunches in my keypad. Cleaning Monitor is easy while keyboard is a painful job. I use mini vacuum cleaner used for Laptops. It is easily available as one of laptop accessories. Yet sometimes i have to clean it manually. I don`t clean it everyday but when see too much of dust and other particle, I clean it right away.

Wow at long last I found someone with similar problem. Its all nappy and dirty somtimes. Very difficult to handle sometimes and you have to treat it like a baby so as to help preserve the laptop from damage and give it a long life span

i only clean it when it needs it, i guess looking at it now i can see that , i should go ahead and wipe it down, i just use a wet rag in water and just wet wipe the keys and take a paper towel or dry rag to the screen .. it does not take long to do it, but i still put things like this off.. but im cleaning today so it may get done :)
