We usually start out our day by listening to music, just seems to get us up and motivated to start our day off right. Today my mom put in an old cd that we hadn't listened to in forever! It was a mix of music, however when the song I'll be there by the Jackson 5 came on it reminded me of an old high school friend. This friend and I used to do everything together day in and day out. We since have lost contact but it was a nice little trip down memory lane to think about some of the fun stuff we used to do back in high school. What song or type of music brings back a special or fun memory for you?

I like this question! Well one that immeadately comes to mind is there's this country artist named Mandy Barnett that I used to have a cassette of when I was a child. I thought she was so pretty and when you close your eyes you would think you were listening to Patsy Cline. Not too long ago I was lucky enough to find the entire album online again (I don't have a cassette player anymore but I still have the cassette!) and that brought back childhood memories, especially when I was little and before I moved away from my first home. Also the song "London Calling" brings me back some good memories, because that was pretty much the first rock song I ever listened to. And there is this song "The World Revolves Around Me" or something like that. I smile everytime I think about it because my best friend and I would walk around and sing to it and change the song around to "The World Revolves Around *our name*" :)

I know how exciting it is to find old music! I recently found a cd that I used to listen to back in middle school, I think I played that poor cd at least for three or four days strait brought back alot of memories! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this topic thepooloflust!
