Different people use different words

I play Words With Friends with quite a few different people. Most of them I know and know very well. A few are just casual friends that I don't know much about.
One thing I noticed today is that depending on what's going on in your life, you are going to use different words. I have a friend who is going through a divorce and has 2 young children. I, on the other hand, have grown children and am happily married. She a lot of words that you would associate with small children, and with being unhappy. My words were mostly upbeat, with no reference to small children. I did know all her words, I was just kind of shocked that I didn't see them. She was in journalism, so I would have expected more sophisticated words that she had.
It was just kind of interesting to look at her words and wonder why I didn't see them. Do you think our mind focuses on things that relate just to our own worlds when playing Words With Friends?

I don't know how to play the game. But you are right about how our mind works. I've noticed that my vocabulary has changed since I had my kids and taught kindergarten. I tend to use simpler words and regular words that I use when speaking to parents of other kids.The sophisticated words are used in situations when I can stop to think. Sometimes, I do seem stuck for the right word. It is due to the fact that my world and the people around me have changed.

Definately the words and emotions you express day to day relate to what you are going through. It would be weird if they didn't! You are usuing different parts of the brain when you have different emotions, and thus different words come about.

Words are only way of expressing our emotion in day by day living. We can use different words depending on the person that you been talking. In playing games you must make sure that you really know the person, because there is a tendency that the person will mad of you if they don’t like the words that you"ve been spoken.
