i made these grilled cheese sandwhiches for my little cousins im taking care of for the week, and i think i did something wrong!!! first of all they turned out all black and hard and the cheese looks like mystery meat!!! EEWWWWW!!!!!! picky children definitly will not eat this!!! second of all, there is grease dripping off the sides of the pan and all over. i dont even know were it came from!!! i wonder what could have happened!! they looked so good before i put them in the oven. are you even supposed to do that!?!?!?!? i think this was a bad idea and im panicing a little. do i just throw it out and start over or what? should i just skip it and make something else? i love grilled cheese and i thought this would be really good but it is a disaster!!!

OK, don't panic, just throw out these charred sandwiches. Then try to make some cleaning without wondering about the grease. "Where it came from"? Do you know what cheese consists of? Then, if you still have cheese, you can do these grilled cheese sandwiches again. BUT THIS TIME WATCH THEM AND STAY AWAY FROM MYLOT!!!
After this you could see your orthography. Good luck!

Well if you really love grilled chesse, just keep it and thank your self for the effort you have made. Then try it again to make another one. Just keep on trying until you get the perfect grilled cheese. Read again the direction and review your recipe maybe something is missing.

I make my grilled cheese on the stove. I spray canola cooking spray in the pan butter one side of each bread and then i flip one butter side bread over in the pan, put cheese on it and put the other slice of bread on top with the butter side on top. And just cook it til it's done, keep flipping sides. Mine always turns out right just cook it at a medium heat i usually do like 6 r 7. Good luck.

well here is how i have always made grilled cheeses, my daughters love these espically my youngest one.. it is simple to me because i have made them so many times so dont give up you will get the hang of it soon..here is my grill cheese
i take a spatula and i get the butter out and i get 2 peices of bread and i peice of cheese , i get a skillet non stick works best, i spray it with pam or other sprays i turn the heat on med, while i assembly the sandwich i put the cheese in between the two peices of bread and then use the spatula or knife to spread the butter on one side, i put the butter side in the skillet and let it start getting brown and then i put butter on the other side and flip it and let it get brown and turn it again until both sides are brown and the cheese is melted.. my hubby and daughter love to eat these with tomato soup.. i hope this helps
