Earning from survey

When I tried to open my mail this morning, there are 2 survey offers in it.
One has a $2 payment if done and the other one has $10.
I am skeptical to do the two because in the past I was lured by survey sites.
Everytime I spend some minutes doing the survey, it always say at the end that my opinon is not needed or the survey is already closed
Although, I want to earn through surveys, I am careful this time.
What would you think?

Well yeah, it also happens to me in most time. It can't be helped, I am not coming from either USA or UK. And the fact that I am still a student here could make things worse..
But I think it still worth to give a try. :) Right now I am just with GlobalTestMarket for paid-to-fill-survey-site. At least they are still giving me 5 points even if I am not eligible for a survey..

Varier, are you still receiving many surveys from GlobalTestMarket? I had been a member of this survey site, too. But until now, i still haven't receive much surveys to reach for my payout from here. Have you receive any payment from them? Hope you can tell more info here, thanks.

Nope, not really. I am just half on my way for reaching the minimum payout. And yep, there are only few surveys that are available for me. But considering that I already got 500 points in several months make me think that I should be able to wait for a little bit time for reaching my first cashout.

Irene, as for me, i don't earn from any survey site anymore since it is hard to reach the payout point. Before, i ever joined a few survey sites and until now i don't even reach any payout in any of those survey sites yet. I don't know why when i had answered a few questions i usually received a message said that i am not qualify for that survey. There are even a few times that when i received and tried to complete those surveys, but they were already closed. Because of that, i not have the confidence to earn through any survey site anymore.

We are on the same boat being given the feeling that we are qualified but as we go on with the survey, we may find out it is not for us
I tried to do several surveys but gave up too.
My ample earnings from them are in my dreams only but never went into my paypal account.
I do not want to waste my time for it too

I feel the same way I joined a survey site and made $1.00 on my first one. I came back and made another $2.00. I keep on with the site and didn't qualify for a lot of the surveys as time went on. When I looked up how I got paid I saw I needed to have $20.00 in order to cashout. That was the last time I went on that site. I am sure I could have got to that cashout amount but I didn't want to spend the time.

I have been a member of a couple of survey sites in the past, and I did earn some money from one of those sites, but it often felt like a waste of time. On site I never got any surveys. In the beginning I kept on checking if there were any new surveys, but I didn't get a single survey, probably because they weren't looking for people from my country. On another survey site I received surveys every once in a while, but when I had answered a few questions I usually got a message saying that I didn't qualify for that survey. Sometimes I tried to open the surveys, but they were already closed. It took me half a year to earn $5. I spent a lot of time on the survey sites and I don't think that it was worth it. Today I don't use survey sites anymmore.

I also have signed up for some of the survey sites. You do get denied for a lot of them and it is frustrating. You spend about ten minutes answering questions and then they tell you that you are not eligible. But I have found that for every five or six, I do get into one. It takes a long time to make any money. It is definitely not a full-time income.

It is going to depend on what survey sites they are. I am assuming that you registered with both of the sites. I am registered with mysurvey which is a legit survey site and I have earned a small amount of money through them. But they have been sold to a bigger survey company and since then, I earn almost nothing.
I am on other types of sites which offer surveys. Most I do not qualify for but there are some surveys that i qualify for every so often and do get rewards.
Surveys seem to be a hit and a miss. Some persons have success with surveys and others no success. Have you done any research on these survey sites?

I am not sure if I am registered with the site.
The email is regular so I have the feeling I might be registred with the site.
But my question is why do survey sites keep on forwarding emails to those who are not quia;lified to do it?
This makes them frustrated at the end if they find out they can not be compensated with their effort and time

They do not know if you are qualified or not qualified until you answer some demographics and a few other questions. They are always looking for a certain profile. You have to answer some questions to see if you meet the profile. You might meet the beginning profile but as you get further into the survey, you might then get disqualified.
If you are getting regular emails from a survey site, you must be registered with the site. You can do research on the site to see that it is a legitimate site. Try survey police. I think that they review and rate survey sites.

I personally feels survey websites work a same pattern. You are not able to gain a single survey except USA user. Its total time of wastage coz mostly survey gone away during the survey.

Your experience happened to me too several times.
When it happened the first time, I thought I am not really eligible for the survey.
But when it happened all the time, I began to suspect they are scamming.
I lost faith with any survey site anymore.
Now I do not participate.

I don't trust most survey sites.
For instance the $10 survey site, I am pretty sure they will ask you for you credit card information or something, I know some do that, or in some cases ask you to buy something to get 10 dollars in return, bottom line is if you are not in the US just forget about survey sites. If you have the time you could just open and see what they have to say, but I bet it would be the same old dissapionment like sorry you do not qualify, not in your area etc. I have stopped using survey sites. Not really worth the stress

I have earned from surveys. Yes, sometimes, I do get similar endings such as yours. I just take it in my stride and move on. I just answer as honestly as I can, and if I am not in the target group, so be it.
You can check the credibility of the survey sites you join. Have you ever got payment from them? For mine, I have, so I just continue as long as they send me.
All the best to you.

Hello irene66,
When i started using online sites for earing some extra money i came upon the survey sites first and registered on so many survey sites. Many of them send the surveys and most of the time same thing happened to me like you and these are really boring to do as one has to answer almost same questions again and again. So i left them and as on today i don't do surveys but like to do some writing works or the forums where i can earn little from these but its enjoable.

I registered with many survey sites, but I hardly ever get a single survey, because in my country they are usually not available. When I get one, once in a while, I spend 15 minutes replying for questions, just to be kicked out because I don't qualify for the survey. I don't know what could be done about it, I guess I rather spend that time working on something that really pays.

I know exactly what you mean. So many times I start out filling it out, and then it tells me I don't qualify for the survey. Other times, I think I'm finally going to complete a survey and make some money, and then all the sudden it asks for your cell phone number or that you participate in something that costs money. I would be weary of them.
