Why do you buy branded items?

I rarely buy branded items actually and only if they are something that is of proven quality several times over in the past. And often times, I tend to research them in detail, that particular, before I look up those items and then I rather purchase them. With said purchases being something that is rather sparingly. Every now and again, which makes the purchase more special. I will have to disagree however that a high price means a higher quality of item always. While that is the case many times, it is not always the case. There are times where I have found generic items with about the same value of quality, with about a fraction of the price. It does cost more money for stores to have the rights that brand name, so the prices may be jacked up a little high.

I buy branded items because as you said of high quality.I only buy branded items and is more safe than any ordinary item.I have recently started a discussion about ice cream here in my lot.Only branded ice creams supply veg ice cream and Non branded mix non veg as non veg ice cream can ve produced easily..

In most cases i don't buy branded items. In my opinion, branded items do have a higher quality but the prices and the qualities don't match.It's understandable for those who afford to buy the branded,but those who can't should think twice when buying one of them. There is no point in buying so expensive a thing .

Yes, I do buy branded items specially for appliances and gadgets the reasons why is because 1 it is already tested that it has good quality, when it comes to durability, safety and style...sometimes those without brands still need to prove themselves in the market I am not saying that those without brand does not have quality on its products however for consumers like me it is better to have those who have quality and are already tested in the market. second of all those with brand seem to have updates when it comes to technology because they have enough funds to have researches and such for its products and lastly those with brand tend to have a stable customer service and repair shop in case customers like me need some assistance in the operations of the equipment or just need to have repair within our outside warranty.

i donnot buy brabded items often, but clothes left in my closet are those branded ones,, their quality is better and suit me, for some luxurious items, i donnot think they are the same valus as their price, flaunt only.

i only often buy some branded items in terms that i am going to used it in special occasion that i have to bragged about what i have. though it is silly, but its fun and it last for years.

I buy branded items for these reasons for example a t-shirt. 1. Good quality cloth 2. nice fit 3. the sewing quality is good and most of all 4. people tend to appreciate you if the brand is known.

For the best quality. That's all. The company behind that so called branded items usually have excellent quality assurance system so they can guarantee the quality. But, well, in fact, I rarely bought branded items (especially for clothes or stuffs). They are just too expensive for me and I think the cheaper one would be just fine for me.. XD

I don't buy brands. It's already proven too that the quality is not better at all, you get fooled. Most articles are also produced in exaclty the same factory just the name is different. If it comes to electric equipments it's all the same too. If it comes to food it's the same also. We have a weekly program about that.. it's tested, people taste etc.. remarkable that always the fake way cheaper stuff wins from the inventor/A brand. And if it comes to quarantee and service it's the same.

Hi jobfindonline, I must say now that I am on a fixed income, I am a frugal shopper...I am no longer working and have no need to spend money on brand names...I am home most of the time and even when I have somewhere to venture I have so so so many items that are great to fill the ocassion... Good for you that you feel brand names are your best buy, but there are so many people who can not afford to do so... You are blessed....

I like also to buy branded things but only to those i can afford. I buy them because, i am really more comfortable with them and they have higher quality. I am not buying those expensive ones because even though they are branded, they are still similar to other branded things. Well, branded is still branded. The only difference is that the name of the brand and the price. However, we must not always think of the price because it only changes because of its demand. The more the buyer the more expensite but it does not mean that the more the buyer the better the quality, not really. :)

I buy branded stuff sometimes because it has a better quality.

I'm not really a brand freak-sometimes I treat myself, of course, because I guess everyone likes to feel a bit of luxury. And there are some things in which I don't gamble (like foundation for my skin or shoes).

Hi jobfindonline, just like you I buy branded items because of quality. Most of my friends used to hate me for this. They always think that I am squandering my hard earned money. My point is, branded items wouldn't be branded for nothing. I mean, I have tried several branded items and most of them lasted for years. Es[ecially when it comes to bags, clothes, and shoes. I have tried purchasing really inexpensive bag before but after a week or two, it is already useless. Also I realized that no matter how careful I am in using these inexpensive things, they still wear off after a short period of time. That made me think that instead of saving, I am actually wasting my money in effect. So for things like the one I have mentioned and for some tech gadgets, I make it a point to go for those branded ones because I am all for quality and getting my money's worth.

I used to buy branded shoes due to its quality and I can used it for quite a long period of time.
