People Who Hate Facebook

I never have a FB account not because I hate it, but because it's just something I have no interest in whatsoever. Moreover, almost everyone I know, my family and friends all do FB; and I certainly never put them down in any way for using FB. I suppose I'm not a FB hater; just a disinterested one.

Hi lordcaocao2025, I sometimes hate Facebook too because of what I often see on my news feed. Many people do not think twice about their posts and often forget that what they post is being seen by hundreds or even thousands of friends, resulting to conflict, insults, or damages to relationships. In addition, many of my friends post statuses and pictures depicting great things about themselves too often that they already appear very narcissistic or showy. Majority of people just want to project themselves in such a way that suggest their achievements are much greater than they really are, a behavior I find very silly. However, I must also confess that Facebook has made my life easier. My lifestyle doesn't allow me to be always be open to socializing face to face with my friends, and Facebook has made my communication with friends a breeze. Sharing information has never been so easy if not because of Facebook. Organizing events and get-together became easy as well. It's just that many people abuse the information they share and that's what makes Facebook irritating at times.

I haven't met anyone who hate Facebook yet. Facebook is a good site for connecting with friends, family...why do some guys hate it? On Facebook, we also can earn money from it if we know the way. I opened my Facebook profile in the beginning time of Facebook and i have no plan to remove it yet. it is really good for me to update friends' information. Anyone has a right to choose this site, that site, so that i don't mind with anyone who hate Facebook also.

Those who hate Facebook are narrow minded. Why do they hate the site? It's not the site's fault if they see something negative posted on their wall. It's their friends' fault and theirs as well. If there's no Facebook, they'll blame Twitter and other networking sites. If there are no networking sites, they'll blame cellphone. For me, Facebook is a great help to its members. In my case, I can always see new pictures of my two nephews whom I see in person once a year, sometimes once every two years. I can also send messages to my siblings.

Yes and actually there are many people here in Mylot who hate Facebook, it's obvious in their discussions and the way they create discussions just to bash Facebook.

oh.. i do see facebook and bloopers and posts or funny facebook stuffs in 9gag mostly... i guess it really depends on the people. We can hate it, we can love it, and have so much more opinions of it - but that depends really on the person's experience with the site... especially of course if they have been mistreated in the site.

I don't know why people hate Facebook. I don't see any point hating something that has connected people that you have not seen over how many years now. It's a good way to find what's going on with people and it's a great venue for each one to meet old friends. I think it depends on how you use the site. MyLot wouldn't be something that you'd like if you don't participate and earn. In the same way, Facebook would only be a waste of time if you use it to waste your time. It's not about negativity. There will always be two sides of the coin and sometimes we need to give ourselves a break from negativity. Facebook or other social networking sites are just venues, it's up to us who use it to make it a good place or bad place to be in. I don't see anything wrong with them. As for those haters, well, you will always have them. It's up to you if you'd read and believe in what they say. They always say that misery loves company, that's why they're the cancers of the world, all they do is complain yet they have done nothing to make the world a better place. I don't hate facebook. I like it actually. But the changes they are doing are making me kind of... you know uncomfy... it's beginning to become commercialized... and took advantage by capitalists.. making crappy games that you should like this and that and also weird people making weird fanpages. I mean... it lost it's old aura that's it's purely clean and just meant for socializing. Now it's used for business and such already.

I hate facebook. I hate it because its another place people waste their time looking for some old friends who forgot them at some time in the past and at the same time forgetting about the people that are around them at present moment, the ones that really respect them. Facebook shows how stupid people could be - putting more and more pictures to see others reactions, writing stupid stuff, quoting things they don't fully understand and all that just to be noticed, it seems people around the world just don't get the necessary attention every day and that's why they become addicted to facebook. Are there people making blogs and forums against facebook?! I wouldn't waste time to create forum or blog for something I hate, I don't see the point in such cause. Witty people does not need anyone else to convince them, they just measure the facts for themselves.

I have never met people or bunch of people who hate facebook a lot. I think they're just wasting their time to make fun of the site or create a forum just to do that. It will cost their productive time, so they better be focus on something more important. If I ever met someone like them I'll tell that if you don't like it then just get over it, forget in and move on .

Facebook is just a tool for us to communicate with others in internet.With technic progress, we had touch kinds of different social interaction device such as letter, telegrah,broadcast, telephone, internet.Why we hate these device and tool which are goog for our living.The negative informaton send by someone who have ill attitude.When you come into some condition like forum site,community site, and chat room site.you always meet some bad and evil influence words. Behind these there are many living people to control.So we need to classify between site and people action words. You can control your homepage stay away from these person. you can choose don't log into facebook accout. Why do you hate facebook.Anyone can't disorder your life.Everything under your arrangement is common and peace.

Hello!! I think those hate facebook is not right at all!! We don't need to!! It is such a social network. If you don't like facebook, you can use other social network like twitter. I think facebook has many positive effect than negative.We can connect with long time no see ones.. But sometimes overusing of it leads to negative effect. But it's all up to you. Nearly all of my friends and my family like using facebook because they can meet their friends and chat. For me, I have my facebook account but very close friends on my facebook and I uses sometimes.When my friends go to abroad, we can see their photos and chat.It's great!! Whether positive or negative effect, it's totally depend on you. I don't like extreme.

I don't hate Facebook, I just hate some people on facebook.

I am a facebook user, neither am I addicted to it nor do I hate it for any reason. I think its a good site where we can find our old school mates and make new friends. It was only once that I received some weird comments from a facebook friend who was a stranger, but was in my friend list. I warned her not to comment like that, but she didn't listen so I finally deleted her from my friend list.

Well, I am one of them. I simply hate Facebook...for many reasons that I cannot speak about. It did serve its purpose, in that I reconnected with many people I knew from the past etc. I spent about 3 months on it (too long if you ask me). My main gripe with Facebook is the way it manipulates you with the information that it feeds you 'intuitively'...just oiling that corporate machine. I felt that it takes too much time, your information is not secure etc...But what really irked me was when they introduced the Timeline interface. I really did not like that they made it COMPULSORY. What happened to freedom of choice? This is when I tried to delete my account only to find out that that is not an option in their world. I took the next best option and that was the deactivate my account. They still keep the information. So, there you are. When a platform such as Facebook does not give you an option to CHOOSE the interface that you want...but they decide for you. I show the finger, as I felt eff Timeline. So, what anyone thinks of me or anyone else that does not like Facebook...well, that is really none of my business. The only reason I wrote this here...was because you asked. I am pretty zen about most things but I do not like being dictated to.

I honestly don't identify with people who hate facebook or those who are addicted to the site. I'm neutral about it. I don't necessarily log in every day but I like having my account and being able to see photos that have been uploaded by friends and family members. I think some people go to extremes. Fortunately...I am able to balance it all.

I think the main problem that I have with Facebook isn't actually Facebook's fault at all. It's the people who use Facebook. Many people look at Facebook as the ultimate social game. The person with the most friends is the "cool guy" or "cool girl". If someone takes you off of their friends list, it's the end of the world and you can't talk to them anymore. In fact, most people go so far as to hating each other when this happens. It's driven me insane with the amount of immaturity I see and hear about from that website (from ALL ages, not just the younger crowd), I simply had to leave. Like someone mentioned earlier, you can't simply leave Facebook, so I just stopped using it. I removed it from my computer's bookmarks, and removed my username and password from my phone's app so it wouldn't send me reminders, but now people continuously ask me why I haven't logged in, responded to their comments, or "liked" their pictures. My verbal responses are, "Grow up and act your age."
