Spell Check

Spell check is one of the greatest pieces of software ever invented! I cannot imagine having to type all the things, in this computer age, without it. But after thinking about that a minute, those of us who cannot spell would probably not realize how many words are spelled incorrectly anyway. Do not confuse the ability to learn with spelling. I have, over the years, the ability to learn just about anything, it seems I do not have the memorization capacity when it pertains to things such as spelling. I believe this is a problem with the wiring in the brain because no matter how hard I work it never seems to get any better, and now I am getting older and I can see this working well! So the question for today is, where are those Nobel prize people anyway this is pure software genuis - genus - genius !!!!

I also appreciate spell check even though I can spell pretty decent. Sometimes my fingers slip up in typing and I might make some typos The spell checker helps me see these mistakes. Without them I'd probably miss them because my eyes don't always see words in the correct way. For example I might have typed something like "Mylto" but my eyes will see it like "myLot" and so I won't bother to fix it. I'm sure those geniuses are still out there somewhere.
