Have you sacrificed something in exchange for a wish?

hi, i also did that,sacrificed something in exchange for my wish,i sacrificed my love life in exchange to make my family business get well and i noticed it happened because that time our family business.but of course im only human and i need to feel love again.someday it will come to me. the right one.

vycess ..This sounds like 'a promise to God'....perhaps she had something personal going on that was serious enough to petition in exchange for quitting a bad habit like smoking? Maybe that was why she doesn't want to share it? I have made .."if, then" pledges with friends regarding simple requests...but nothing so serious as quitting smoking.

I met and hung out with Bone Thugs n Harmony my favorite music group. I prayed for years and passed up chances out of fear and insecurity long before I got to them. This year I got to see my dream man go off with a fan I can not stand. I lost my dream. The 1st time we got close before this I was onstage with the group and lost my cell phone, a new shirt I just bought, and other things. It was a dream come true and well worth it @ that time. I like your friend. She sounds like me. True friends don't pressure friends.
