The Democrats and some of their supporter just aren't logical

The Democrats are the big supporters of birth control and abortion and yet this just tends to reduce their main voter base that they are always catering too and trying to make larger which is the poor and the people they have made dependent on government. Also, Hispanics seem to be largely for Democrats but Hispanics appear to be mostly Catholic and the Catholic church is very much against birth control and abortion. Then there are the Hollywood types many of which are very liberal and support Democrats but yet many of them are very rich which supposedly is who the Democrats want to raise taxes on and the Hollywood types are dependent on the corporations who make their movies and TV shows for their wealth and employment and yet the Democrats are waging war on corporations. Then there are the poor who support Democrats who over decades have tried and mostly succeeded at creating more poor people and keeping them there. Democrat's have shown that their main objective it to make government bigger, increase taxes, spend more and increase their power.

You partially answered you question yourself. Since we don't have a Democrat 'gene' and can't pass this aberration on to children, the Democrats just keep 'creating' new Democrats by keeping people poor and promising them the moon. See....that's how it works.

Is there a question somewhere in here? Lets take this issue by issue: Abortion: Democrats believe that a women has the ABILITY to choose what is best for her instead of big government. Republicans believe that big government should make that decision for them. Hispanics: Although they may be religious they aren't stupid. Most of them are not rich, and know that republican policies favor the rich more than anyone else in the country. They are like the rest of us (especially the elitist rich): Looking out for themselves. Not to mention republicans want to deport them all, and support strict immigration laws. This makes total sense!!! Hollywood: You are correct that they are rich, and would be taxed more under democrats. But, they aren't attacked by Democrats like they are republicans, and democrats didn't try to censor them like republicans in the past. Democrats taxing and spending: Recent history would show that republicans have had a lot of spending problems. GWB entered office with a budget surplus and left with a record deficit. He also INCREASED the size of government, created the largest government department ever, including the most popular department ever: TSA. GWB also praised and signed the Patriot Act which gave the president more power than he ever has had (including the ability of the government to do things that were illegal before). The funny part is that Obama has actually lower taxes more than Bush did. But, all in all this Tax and spend liberals has turned into both parties cutting taxes, and spending every dime they can find, and when they run out borrow more from China. Just ask Romney where he is going to get his money of his tax cuts!!!

I was wondering who was running around posting that particular tag line. But don't you love how Bush is magically involved in practically every discussion we have about President Obama? You would think we were back in 2008 and not in 2012. I don't see where President Obama actually lowered taxes on anything. In fact, his whole campaign has been based on the premise of higher taxes. Yes, his revenue dropped but that was due to the number of people that actually paid taxes dropped significantly. Support of Buffet Rule, Support of higher taxes. Support of Obamacare, Support of people paying more either to insurance company or IRS. Support of ending Bush tax cuts, obvious tax raise. Yes, he is the only President to campaign on higher taxes.

The Democrats try really hard to get the poor people to vote for them. I'm poor. I do not vote for them. And I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in my Section 8 apartment complex who does not.

Your points are only valid with your first suppositions that Democrats want power (which is a given for each party) and that they intentially create and maintain a poorer class. Historically it is big money that needs the lesser class held in its place, a variation on Marx's predictions. Social policy to aid the lower classes instead has kept the Communist movement from becoming reality in the Western Democracies. Further, you suppose all Democratic policy should be determined by what acquires the most votes. You overlook the obvious possibility that most Democrats might just think they are doing the right thing (it is irrelevent whether they ARE doing the right thing). On the same line of thinking, Republicans are shooting themselves in the foot by supporting pro-Christian values and legislation controlling lifestyle while preaching free markets and less government in our lives. Everything else I could have said defending Democratic friends was already said above so I'll leave by just summing up that both parties make stupid seeming political moves because they believe in something greater than just whose vote they get and that's exactly how it should be!
