Yesterday was my son's school enrollment for the school year 2012. He was a bit excited to go to his school just to chance upon seeing his friends but he only saw kids that he found annoying in the classroom. After that we decided to watch a movie, The Avengers. It twas fun and we really enjoyed it a lot. It has been a long time that we watched a movie in the theater. We haven't had the time so since we're always busy with our schedule. So yesterday we just didn't go swimming and longboarding. I know some family have regular movie dates, but we don't. Do you?

I think i'm aware of that sometimes when you post it on your profile or on your wall. I know how much you love cuddling and staying in the room with your partner! It's nice to have moments like that regularly. Just cuddling and watching a movie.

terminator - terminator salvation poster
i think it's important to make sure that you keep a relationship fresh and new, and there is no better way than to have a "date" every now and again :) even if it means just cuddling like teens! the last film we watched together was terminator salvation with christian bale. i love those films. have you seen it?

Quite early for enrollment. School hasn't started yet. It's always like that in Ateneo. They want an early registration for their students. Weekend is our movie date at home. We have a 43" 3D tv so we could just stay at home and enjoy watching but sometimes it's much better to watch a movie on a bigger screen.

No we don't have movie day. We watch movie whenever we like. No special day to watch it on theater or at home. If we watch it in cinema then it should be on school holiday but we just watch it occasionally. We would rather watch movies at home than in cinema. There are movies everyday on tv so perhaps everyday is a movie day for us~(^^)

Great but in our case there are just movies that are worth seeing on a big screen. We have a 3D TV at home that is 43 inches so we would be able to enjoy the movies but it's different on a much bigger screen.

WOw! 3D TV with the size of 43 inches! Yeah, for some movie they are worth seeing on a big screen especially if they have great sounds and visual effects!

I watched avengers yesterday too and I loved it!! It was so much fun. Anyway the last time i went to movies with my family was during the dinosaur era i think lol I go to the movies frequently with my friends or along but have't been with my fam in a long time now. Hmm sounds like a good idea though :)

I don't, but you've given me the curiosity to watch the movie and I'll get it. It is good that you mix sport with cinema or other activities. On the other hand, anything can be one-sided.

I like to mix everything. Sugar and spice and everything nice. Lately i've been using that! Have a great day Rick!

Make a habit of quality time with your son as long as you can and he still enjoys tagging along with you. Time may pass by without your knowledge that he may outgrown this ritual. It need not be just movie time, make something creative so every event is a surprise for him and he would look forward to it. I still do it once a month with my parents.

I agree. It's just sad that i'm not with him right now and wont' be able to spend time with him until March next year. I am so looking forward to be with my family soon in March.

Hi toni Ever since I have been ill and confined within home, I dont have any set movie days. Yes, I do watch a movie everyday - I either rent out a DVD or even play one from my stock at the PC. Though there are some special movies which we (me and my wife) go to watch at the theaters. Otherwise the PC is quite enough

I would love to have movie dates too. But my son is only roughly 2 years old, so I guess movie date will have to wait a few years for me :) about 3 weeks ago we rented a pool together with my parents for my son to experience swimming. and now we're planning to go swim again this weekend. i wonder what is it with water that kids are really attracted to?

I'm a sucker for water myself and i really don't understand why i have that passion! But not all kids are attracted to water. I have nieces and nephews who are scared to go into the pool at a very young age.

What is longboarding?? As for movie night, we don't exactly have a movie night. I can relate to the busy schedule.

It's surfing on land. It's almost similar to a skateboard but the board comes in different sizes and shapes and it has bigger wheels than skateboards.
