yea i always do lol i was just running a little bit later tonight haha i am also glad that there is an american idol intrest because there are a lot of fans out there and it is great to have people to discuss it with each week i also start getting a little bored so i play the computer like tonight i was working on mylot while watching it. i usually watch the talking part at the beginning then watch some of their performance and then go back to the computer until the next person unless someone is really good and they stand out a lot then i will watch the whole thing lol yes i agree about Jessica and Phillip. the judges input does influence the audiences votes i think but i guess that is normal and will happen no matter what. you are right they did not like Jessicas first song and Phillip they felt should have done another song. J-lo said he shouldnt have done that song right now that at this point he needs to "wow" them each time. they liked him but felt he needs to wait. J-lo really wants him to be at the top and win also she really likes him (she flirts with him on each show). yes from here on out no matter who goes home it willbe a very talented person and it will be very upsetting. just like last week with Colton but someone HAS to go home no matter what :( i missed the 1st part as my kids were being load lol and i was doing other things trying to get everyone settled so we could watch it. what did they say about it? honestly i think everyone expected Elise to go home and i think that she should have off of her previous performance but like you said we cant predict the votes of others....

Usually when the Wednesday show begins, they show the tape of the previous Thursday contestants getting the bad news at the end of the show. They show the last few minutes when the last two are getting to find out who goes home. They did not do it this week. Instead at the beginning of the show, they said something like "and after last week's shocking elimination of Colton" and then continued on. I do not remember the exact words. But they did not show the tape of Colton getting the bad news and his reaction.

wow i did not notice that. that is weird. i guess they were not happy with the dicission that the voters made last week but then again there were a lot of people upset and i do not undertstnad why that is if everyone liked him so much lol i guess not enough people voted for him. may be they thought he was safe enough...

lol yea i always forget some people watch it later than me lol and yes i post a discussion every night after american idol haha i guess i have started liking it more and here at mylot i get to see what others think lol i have fun discussing it and hearing what everyone has to say about it. idk what ill watch weekly when it is over hahaha. i have also thought Elise is one of the weaker singers and i would have thought she would have gone home before now but since she is still there i am thinking she will go home but then again i have said that the past 3 weeks and she is still there so i am not very good at predicting that lol. i am not ready to see jessica go but she didnt do as good as she has done but it was a bad choice of songs she had to pick from. they just were not for her but she made the best of it that she could.

hi yes i think that holly just saved her self for another week. she did really really well and it was the perfect song for her. this competition is so hard and with so much talent it really is hard to choose who is going home or who might win the whole thing. i also agree with you i believe that those 3 will be the top 3 and be safe but then again after what happened with Colton no one can really be sure how the votes will pan out....lol

That a week ago, it was a wake up call but it's harder NOW because others are ON THE RISE! i think hollie deserve a standing ovation. but i don't think it was a Standing Ovation for Joshua, i mean what was that?! their favorite though

yes i think it was a wake up call to everyone and showed them that no one is safe anymore they have to have perfect performances every week from now on if they plan on making it to the top. yes Hollie deserved it but Joshua no. he was ok but not good enough for a standing ovation but like you said "their favorite" i think another favorite is Phillip and posibly Skyler. i think Skyler also got a standing ovation but i could be wrong on that one.

it is a very hard to predict the out come of this and yes i was also woundering if we were going to see the same thing as the other week when Jessica was almost sent home and the judges saved her but this time there will be nothing they can do about it and that would just be sad. if she doesnt win it i still think that Jessica has a few more weeks in her before she goes home. All of them surprised me a little bit but my vote is still for Skyler and Phillip lol i was very surprised to see Hollie get a standing ovation she ahs come so far and she really deserved that :) i am excited for tomorrow to know what happens and who goes home.

It's hard to predict now because they were all good but i think the judges didn't like Jessica to be in the rocky part of the queens, i don't like that the way they just stick her to ballads. well, if she gets voted out she can do more than just freaking ballads. i am sad that she is struggle for songs that are for judges taste or viewers taste. i didn't realize holly has been there twice in american idol, good luck to her too tomorrow.

it is a little unfair that they pick songs that make it very hard for the contestants to do good on and shine but that is the point of american idol ou should be able to adapt if you have to and it helps them to learn new ways of singing and appealing to everyone in the audience. i think i remember them saying she had been there a few years back but dont hold me to that i am not sure lol

yes they all are very good and i think that each of them can further their career if they want to rather they win american idol or not. I also liked the way Jessica arranged that. I have always kind of liked Phillip. there is just something about him i guess because he is not afraid to be up there and be himself each and every week. I honestly never thought that Holly would have made it this far but i am glad that she did. she deserves to be up there. im not sure she has what it takes to win the whole thing but she is learning a lot of nre things to better her self and actually she seems to be getting better these past few weeks. Elise is very diffrent and that is nice to see. i agree she also comes up on that stage with confidence no matter what and she knows hoe to be herself. i also agree with that. i think that now the votes are just popularity not really for the talent so it is very hard to know what ALL of america likes we jsut know what we like and what the people who comment like. there are a lot more voters out there than just us few.

so you are rooting for Jessica to win at the end?? i do hope that she is able to pick a better song next week (if she makes it to the next week not saying she will lose but at this point there is no telling who will stay and who will go.
