Interested To Put Up A Flower Shop

I have been wishing to put up a Flower Shop in our town. The wish has been borne of my passion for flowers. I like flowers such as roses, tulips etc. However, I am quite unstable with this idea because I am not sure if it will be feasible in our place. It has been a dream for me to see myself managing a flower shop but I do not know if I will succeed with this venture. Thus, I cannot jump to start it. Any motivation there?

When deciding on what type of business to run, you must ask yourself the following questions first. Is it something I am knowledgeable about? And is it something I am passionate about? Apart from the financial side of the business, which is putting up the capital, passion and knowledge are the two other elements that can determine the success of a business. The other aspects will simply follow. It may not be feasible to have a Flower Shop in your town at the moment, but given the knowledge on how to handle flowers, and having the passion to let you think out of the box, makes it possible for you to create strategies to create a demand for your product and even expand your target market.

Well, I personally do not know how the economic situation in your country. But I can assure you that in mine (Italy) and also in many European states, applies an economic crisis that seems to be "without end"!
I at the time, in any way, never start a business, in my city with the times of crisis that face.
In your case, you have to see. Great that you have passion for flowers, they are wonderful!
But before being certain you want to open that flower shop, done the math "in your pocket."
This is my personal advice that I give to you.

I love to read when someone is motivated to do something that really likes. Go ahead try to do it. There is a frase that goes: The one who tries to do something has the change to loose, the one who never tries to do it,lost already. Is very good to develope in something that u really love, you will do it with passion and you will be successful. Good luck .

You got the passion for it, I'd suggest you try and get started. You can begin with some research work on competitors close to your area. Do you plan to do online flower shop or rent a place?

Hi jureathome, thanks for the encouragement. I am planning to have it on both online and offline.. I plan to put it up in a mall that will soon be constructed in our town. By then, I might have already resigned from day job.
