What do you think of fashion?

Nowadays fashion speaks aloud. Then do you choose what you wear or does the media choose it for you? The newspaper and magazine and Tv work hardest in trying to persuade persons to buy new things for home ,work and family. Many large companies spend much money for a one-minute ad.And many people especially the younger generation are keen fashion followers . Unfortunately I am one of those who don't seek after fashion.I am a stubborn person. I wear what i like whether it is fashionable or not.Mylotters, what about you?

I like looking at fashionably dressed people, but, I'm not a fashionable person myself. I prefer comfortable to fashionable. Yeah, I would try on nice things, but if they're not comfortable, then it's not good enough for me. I seldom get influenced by media when it comes to my fashion.

Sometimes fashion stands for advance while sometimes not. Sometimes I look at some fashionable clothes and find that they are not so good as the media say. To tell the truth, Neither the making quality nor the style nor the cloth is good, they are just be wore by some well-known persons .

Archai, i am wearing what seems casual and comfortable to me. I don't really have the interest to follow any fashion. For me, i always make sure that the clothes that i want to buy must be comfortable and suitable for me to wear daily. When i was young and still a teenager, i like to buy those lovely skirt and flowery blouse to wear. But nowadays, i prefer to buy and wear a one color clothes. I don't have much flowery clothes in my closet.

i am just like you, i never was into fashion its all about comfort for me, i cant stand to have on an outfit that is not very comfortable, that is what i liked about my church, we never had to dress up could wear anything we choose, and that was nice.. i refuse to wear a dress.. and i will never wear high heels either
i dont even wear makeup.. never felt i needed it.. i think i look ok without it, but my sister is totaly different she dresses to the hilt, and always is in fashion and always has her makeup on and looks like she stepped out of a magazine but not me.. like me for who i am.. and im just plain ole me..

I'd be the last person to know about fashion. I have no idea what's in or out or latest trend. I still happily wear clothing from my college years, and that's like almost 25+ years ago
As long as they are comfortable, decent, and appropriate, I could care less if the clothing I'm wearing is fashionable or not.

In fact , some so-called unfashionable clothes are good for one to wear. One is that they are comfortable to wear . I think the reason is that maybe they have been wore by many people and for many years. The designers would improve the clothes according to people's practical advice.

I like fashion as art and as an expression of one's self, but I'm not really keen on mass fashion and people not having their own styles. I follow fashion is a sense that I like to keep up with knowing trends, but I'm gonna buy whatever I like and compliments my shape and colours, and I don't care if it's in or not at the moment.

Brand names and fashion is huge here in the US. Its actually really pathetic the way people wear clothing they honestly cant afford. Same thing with expensive smart phones. Its really quite foolish in a large scale for people to spend so much on items worth so little raw. The profits are gross and nearly all goes to the top where the money stays and will never have any form of 'trickling effect'. Off of that rant and back to your topic, I do 'dress nice' and generally appreciate girls that dress nice and have good style. But that doesn't mean it has to be expensive. Simply that I like my shirts fitted and don't like wearing baggy jeans. going by those two standards makes looking good easy for any guy. Talking brand names (nothing crazy), a great thing to do is work for the company part time for alittle to make friends and get yourself a discount. Got that one in the bag for A&F and Express. next target is banana republic. Bottom line, looking good isn't a wrongful act; just don't overpay.

From generation to generation Fashion comes and goes. It's never static but dynamic. Old one becomes and new becomes old. Fashion is all about constant change of innovations.

In my teenager years I followed the latest fashion. When I was fourteen years old flowery dresses were popular. They looked like they had been made from curtain material. I liked big hoop earrings in those days at the weekend. I shopped in the fashion keen shops and bought cheap clothes. Nowadays I like to wear classic clothing that is comfortable. I have a black cardigan and a pink t-shirt underneath it on today. I think fashion goes around in a huge circle because I have seen some things come back in fashion.

I have no more idea about the fashion and I don't pay attention to it. Sometimes I feel the clothes in the fashion show are quite weird and I wonder whether people will wear them. I prefer to wear what I feel comfortable and I like to have a casual look.
I love China

I am like you. I don't REALLY care. I mean, I have my own personal sense of style, or I like to think so, but I don't follow trends. I wear what looks good on me and with the style I kind of like (rocker-chic? ha ha, I don't know). Some people spend hundreds of dollars on tops, well, I go to the thrift store and buy my tops for about $4 a piece or less. I love finding bargains and dressing well within a budget. It's kind of a fun challenge for me. But I don't care what's going on in the runways. "High fashion" is actually just really really weird clothes that no one in their right mind would wear (or pay an arm and a leg for!) anyway. That's the way I see it! lol!

Hello friend,
I think now-a-days fashion is a good attitude. If you have a good attitude then you are very actractive in any place.
Have a nice day.

I like that! I'm part of your crew, Archaiwy!!! I don't give a minute of my time for such vanity. No offense to those people who praises fashion but it's what I think. Honestly, I don't really care if they sell the most beautiful clothing out there. As long as I have clothes and it looks decent, I'm on for a long walk in public. My mind is too busy for such. My time is too precious for that. I also don't get it how people nowadays appreciate fashion. Maybe they see it as art but hey, it's their opinion too and I don't want to argue with them. Bottom line, people have their own views of everything, but I, for one, won't be wasting my time to such ... as they call it... "ART"

I am not fashionable because I can't afford to. I am still using my five year old maong pants, and they still look new. Same with shirt, most of them are already three, four, and five years old. I also have blouses, jackets, slacks, and coats. All of them are very expensive. I buy expensive clothes because my intention is to use them for years because I want to save money for the future.
