How to have a deep sleep?

Hello! I have been suffering from insomnia these last few weeks. I cannot concentrate in school because of many sleepless nights. I become easily fatigued too because of the lack of rest. What tips could you give me for me to have a good night sleep. I have tried drinking warm milk before bedtime but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks for your thoughts guys!

Do you work out / exercise at all? If not, you should try getting a good work out in before bed. That's when I sleep the best. Also laying off the caffeine won't hurt you at all. Best of luck to you!

Hi maezee! Nope, I am not really fund of work outs or exercises specially at night. I am a coffee lover by the way but I think that drinking decaffeinated coffee will solve this problem. What types of exercise before I sleep do you suggest? Thanks for the response.

One of the causes of insomnia can be your subconscious mind dealing with unknown stress. Explore your feelings if you have forgotten work that was left unfinished. It can also be your sleep pattern, try avoiding having afternoon naps since it can disturb your night’s sleep. Avoid caffeine and carbonated drinks before sleeping too.

Hello Lauren. Try to have an extra time before your sleep. a time for meditation. I think this will help your mind relax in some way plus will also relieve your daily stresses in life. And most importantly, pray before you sleep. Nothing beats having peace of mind and spirit when trying to relax and sleep.
