.. I think the subject may be interesting for a debate here in mylot community. So, this is the deal which have turn on big time a discussion somewhere into a community (online) where I am member and were plenty of different opinion about: In fact all the debate had not an actual event as a reference point. There was not a particular rape was all about - it was the statement of a guy who said: "In my defense I will declare that I get overexcited because of her sexy apparel - tiny skirt, see-thru shirt, smiling at me and so on - that's why I raped her" Now, what do you thing of that? Is there any true in this statement or the rapist is never right, under no circumstances?

There could be something to that as the way girls are dressing these days they could be staight off a street corner but no girl wants to be raped and regardless of how she is dressed does not deserve to be raped. I think this man should go to jail and learn control. His excuse sounds pretty pathetic because he didn't have to act on whatever thoughts were running through his tiny mind. Rape is never right and in my opinion maybe rapists should get a taste of what they dish out.

Its the cake's fault that it looked good and I ate it. Even though women who dress up provocatively should be aware that it has risks, it's not only their fault if they get raped. Nobody wants to be raped. It's not an excuse for having no self control. There are women who get raped and they are wearing sweater and jeans. If a guy has no self control he can rape a modestly dressed woman, while others can behave somehow and don't rape someone in mini skirt. And we have enough self control not to kick anyone's eye out for bad looks. Sorry I know there is temptation, but can't accept that as an excuse.

This guy is a total loser. How pathetic is this excuse? "I just couldn't control myself" I hope spends a LOT of time in jail, as some guy's "girlfriend"

Maybe the rapist is telling the truth. He was aroused and got overexcited when he is not really planning to rape the girl. But then, if you are on your right mind, you wioll learn to control yourself. Or let it be that you can commit crime. He choose to be of crime, so he does it. The rapist didn't mind what he may lead to. He just want to have a taste of life he never have to...
