I get quite bothered lately about something that i don't quite understand. Maybe it may just be beacause i have been thinking so much about life. I have been away from home for around 5 monthns already.
I decided to give up the comfort living that i used to have at home where i don't have to worry about anything like the food i would be eating everyday, who would be doing my laundry and i don't even have to worry about renting a place to stay back then.
I gave up the comfortable life that i used to have so that i could learn how to be independent and at the same time im also searching for anwers on what purpose my life is for. I don't quite know what i am living for anymore but i just continue on this daily journey as an ordinary person who just go to work on weekdays and rest on weekends and it just becomes a routine that i have been doing for months alredy.
I sometimes think that the world would still be the same even if i never existed at all or even if i would just disapper now nothing would be different.
Sometimes i think im not worth anything in this world maybe because i just have a very low self esteem and self worth. Or maybe thinking about life too much just leads to depression.
I don't even see the point on celebrating my birthday like the usual person, for me its just an ordinary day and nothing more.
Have you also felt the same thing about life?
Or is it just me thinking too much about life?
Is there something wrong with me or the way i think?
What do you think is the purpose you are living your life for?
Would just like to hear some insights from other members here.
Thanks for sharing guys.

If what you are doing isn't working, perhaps it's time for a change. Instead of making it all about you, make it all about others. Help others around in your life. Give love and kindness to everyone you meet. Help those you can and encourage those you can't. You will discover that the positive feedback will make you feel your true worth.
It's all within your reach. Look around you with new eyes. Hmmm?? Let's see. Who needs help?? They are waiting for your arrival.

It is obviously an awe feeling to be away from our very own comforts zone in lieu of our search of being independent ,life would be really different I would say to say the least .It is true that we are questioning our ways of dealing with things that is happening and occurring in our very own life .How about if we would just be contented of our present status and no longer explore further to fill in a gap that we wanted to do, well we have different views pertaining to it so likewise we should respect ones view and perspective in accordance with ones search and hopefully have a resolution on it someday.

this is deep discussion and sensible. well, i always seek meaning in my daily living. but at times i get stuck in my daily grind and i forgot my goal. i lose meaning in what i do and why i do. when this happens, i take time out to reflect and think it over. i go out and travel and be alone and be myself in an environment that no one recognizes me. in this way, i come back to myself.

One thing: don't be overly critical of yourself. You are doing fine. Just move on, enjoy every moment of what you are doing. Find something to divert yourself from these depressing thoughts by enrolling in a nearby gym. Yes, I am sure it would help.

I feel much the same way a lot of times. It is depression, I think. It's a chemical imbalance that causes us to have these negative feelings about ourselves and our self-worth. I feel that we need to take every day as it comes and see that day as a gift. Each day the sun 'comes up' is a new day that you have never seen before. It's a brand new day that you were meant to see and participate in.
You are a very special person, even if you don't feel like it. You are unique and there isn't another you out there. There isn't another me out there. The world would not be the same if we weren't there. There would be a difference. Without me, there would be no daughter who is the light of my life. Without me there would be no grandsons in the world who are mine. A hundred years from now there will most likely be someone whose existence might be partly dependent upon me being alive in this world.
We are all connected somehow in this universe. We have a powerful influence on the people in our lives. If you or I weren't here anymore, we would be missed. Our loss would be felt.

Don't put too much drama in your life. Just relax and loosen up. Everyone of us goes in that state at one point in our life. Learn to appreciate things no matter how small they are. My suggestion is go somewhere that will help you relax, a beach perhaps. Have a vacation to relax, think and appreciate life.

I've felt the same thing before.
Why I am here, what is my purpose-does my existence is worth, or I am just one of those who live day to day with same routine.
Until one day I found myself working with charities.
I realized how many people out there needs care more than I do.
How many people out there are waiting for hands to reach them.
Now I know my existence- I don't live for myself alone.
I don't exist to care for myself alone.
Maybe you will find your purpose too- soon
