are so wonderful. My daughter went for a walk and brought home some Lily of the Valley the other night. Like three nights ago. I layed them down on a book I had been reading and fell asleep. I woke up the next morning and could still smell them. Three little sprigs and it has been about three days and I can still smell it. Then she brought home some lilacs and now I setting here smelling lilacs on one side of me and the lily of the valleys on the other. Do you enjoy the fragrance of flowers this time of year? Which flowers?

That is sad that you don't have more access to them. I can't plant here where I live. I wish I could. We can have planters put up on our patio but that is all.

I know how you feel, right now our ilang-ilang plant has bloomed, their flowers are really fragrant and could remind you of a summer's day. Whenever the wind blows through them the whole house or the neighborhood smells of their sweet fragrance. I think it's really nice to smell flowers - all the more when they are fresh! Oh I just love flowers, I wish we could have them all year round. If only the noise around the cars passing could be blocked, this place would have been perfect! Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I like the smell of jasmine and rose very much. I think there are lots of flowers that are smelling very good. I think one should try to smell flowers when one can.

Soon as I walk out of my house there is a beautiful flower smell. I don't know which flowers they are from. We have some lilies, tea cup roses, a tree with pink flowers, morning glories (these grow all of the yard and on my dads workshop, another different looking morning glory, dandy lions, passion flower, honey suckles and just all kinds of different things that pop up. I think the birds drop some of their seeds and it grows there.

that would sure be nice to experience. I used to have a Morning Glory vine on front step and it would just be opening in the mornings when I went past on my way to the car. We have dandy lions in the yard right now. No bright and pretty.

Double jasmine - Just one flower is good enough to fill the entire garden with its aroma.
This is the season for jasmines here in India and I am waiting for my plant to yield and when that happens the whole garden is filled with its aroma. It also reminds me of my school days and happy days at that as that was the third term and then came holidays to have fun and frolic!Jasmines come in several varieties and I like the double.

I like the scent of flowers also, rose, orchid, and jessamine. I often buy roes and put it in my room, wow, so nice with roes' scent. However, I really don't like Lily's scent, its smell is too pungent very hard so i just put lily in the balcony only, i never put lily in my room

The jasmine flower would be lovely. I used to go to the Rose garden I have in the city and smelled the different ones. Some smell so sweet and others are peppery.

Exactly the two flowers I have at home now! I love them! I got some lily of the valley from a friend, they smell wonderful. I picket the lilacs when I came home, I found a bush which was not in anybody's garden... Lilacs is the typical Mother's Day flower, but the weather is so warm now that there won't be any of these flowers left for the first Sunday of May.

Isn't that something? Oh, I think there may be some lilacs left around here. We have had some rain and cooler weather. Hopefully it will still be around.

I was surprised to discover how very fragrant Lily of the Valley are.. and if I'm remembering correctly, so are milkweed! But I will have to wait til later in the summer when they bloom to see if I am remembering it right! It's amazing how wonderful flowers smell.

I like flowers where they belong or as a back up for some smokey, rich perfume. But I don't care for flowery perfumes. I love lavender though. Lavender anything. Soap, parfum, lotion or anything.

Hi celticeagle, it's great to get the sweet scent of flower when reading book. I did keep flowers with sweet odour in my books before. I'm from tropical region and don't have knowledge in lily of the valley. I'm glad that I could learn new thing by surfing web Wow, they look really adorable! I could see the attractive white bell-shaped little flowers drooping in a row from a stalk. It's rather sad that I couldn't get the sweet scent I enjoy inhaling sweet odor from flowers. I like only flowers that exhale faint scent. It's so refreshed to get the sweet fragrance from favorite flowers. Happy posting

Yes, I think pressing flowers is nice. Leaves a scent on the page for a bit. Lily of the valley is a special scent. So is lilac. Too bad you aren't in an area where they grow.

Avon used to make a perfume roll that looked like chapstick. It came in several different flavors. Lily of the valley being one of them. They may have had lilac too. Not sure. I am sad that you don't remember what lilacs smell like. They are lovely and I have a bouquet of them right here.

I like the smell of English Lavander. It soothed my moods and it calms. Whenever I choose the kind of scented oil I surely have this of my choice. My aunt has a garden and it almost contains most plants and by seasoned their flowers bloom. She usually send me an English lavander flower and it lasts a longer. I have my favorite flower but unfortunately its not as fragrant as an english lavender. So when it comes to scented flowers I love lavander. Have a great weekend maam. God bless!

I used to grow it. We have a place nearby that we walk to and pick some. It is my all time favorite. Then lilacs and lily of the valley. I have Lavender all over in my room but it gets old and not as fragrant after awhile.

I like spring because it smells so nice all around. My gf likes Lilies very much and when I buy some she always takes her time smelling them. It's nice that nature provides us with such a delight. I hope they plant more flowers in my town soon. They usually do that during spring.

We went for a drive around town after the heavy rain we had yesterday. Flowers were so vivid and out favorites the lilac were lovely. Ornate plums all over were just beautiful. I wish we could plant here.

Plants represent a touch of nature at it"s most beautiful form. At specific parts/seasons of the year, it is a really huge satisfaction for me to take a short walk near the river and enjoy the scent of plant world. It makes all my troubles go away. At the end of each walk, I take just a few flowers of wild roses rising at the edge of an old bridge.
