Call and text using bluetooh?

Call and text through Bluetooth - Anyone knows if there is a phone app that can be used to call and text? Bluetooth technology is widely used today. If this application exists, it would be very handy in times when you just need to call and text people on a short distance. Has anyone heard or have tried this? Thanks for your thoughts.

Hi there folks. I am just wondering if there is any mobile application that can let you call and text just by using Bluetooth. Almost all mobile phone have a Bluetooth feature nowadays. It would be nice to know that an application like this could exist. It will surely cut the cost on the money you spend for texting and calling. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

In the past I ever saw a software which could let you text by the bluetooth. It seemed it was popular in the school as the students could use it to contact with each other in the classroom. But I forgot the name of this software. As to making a call by the bluetooth, I haven't seen it yet. Perhaps it is not good enough to send the voice data by the bluetooth since it is not so fast. But if you use wifi to make a call, this is still possible. I love China
