what's behind online trading?

i have been invited by so many trading sites yet i didn't understand any of the mechanics. i have read over the FAQ panels but still i wasn't able to grasp any of the details there. is it advantageous to join or are there any risks?i don't really have any idea since i haven't met any person who is involved directly on online trading.The market has become more accessible, but that doesn't mean that i should take online trading lightly. i have stumbled upon on terms like online brokerage, make trades but i have to protect yourself from fraud.any ideas, pal?how this stuff works?

The only thing I know is that I had friend before who invested her money she got it from her retirement pay and its really works for her because as she had told me that it really works well to her and its a big help for her but it also needed attention, focus, understanding and patient.

this is really great for those who are always on the go and that they should have enough time following the current rates and trends in trading. i have to think hard and see if i have enough time too since i can't afford to lose money that much since it's so hard to earn it again with that same huge amount. but in the long run i gues is have to try.
