Hi Friends, The match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings was absolute thriller. Both sides played very well until MSD made a wrong decision to send Saha at No.4.It was really a stupid decision from the Indian captain. When there are many star players in the order why Saha promoted to no.4?This is absolutely foolish.Punjab played exceptionally well and dominated the Chennai team.Chennai lost the match by 7 runs.Saha scored just 6 runs of 14 balls. He has wasted 8 balls. That was the main reason for Chennai's loss.MSD needs to get back Vijay for Saha.Do you agree that it it is a poor decision from the Indian captain?

Hi sami, you are absolutely right. There was no point as to why Dhoin promoted R Saha at 4. Sometime I feel he is not a captain of the Team India. I am happy that Kings xi punjub won the match. Dhoni, it seems does what he wants to do like an autocrat. Even when he is batting and run rate is soaring high he is totally nonchalant and goes on in his own pace. This is not good cricket anyway.

I agree with you. It was a foolish decision from Indian captain. It seems like he loose his tricks. If he send jadeja or bravo or dhoni itself then the result might be different. I wonder why dhoni is going to bat at number 3 or 4 in such run chases where a good batting is needed to bring the required run rate down. Does he dont have faith in his batting itself?

Hi Krag, Thanks for understanding the point I have mentioned.I think the Indian captain has lost his intelligent tactics.Yesterday CSK were chasing a mid total which is probably easy for their batting line up.He needs to be sacked as the Indian captain.Even he is out of form.He has not scored so many runs in this season. It is really a disappointment for his fans and the nation. If he continues to make poor decisions ,then India won't make it to the T20 World cup .

Hi Rock, Thanks for agreeing with me.I think it is the time to sack Dhoni as the Indian captain.I think he should understand and step down as a captain from all forms of the game. Not only he has lost his tricks but also his intelligence and tactics. He is out of form for quite a while and has struggled to score runs.It has been a long time when Dhoni has batted at no.4.He normally comes lower down the order and blames the other batsmen for not scoring runs.It is time to bring a change in the Indian squad.

Actually I do not think it was such a bad move at that moment. Because the match was nicely in the grasp and all it needed was finishing and this was a chance to allow Saha to get some runs under his belt. Unfortunately, it did not come off and now looks really a bad decision. But of course, Saha played poorly and that definitely was the turning point of the match. Cheers! Ram

Hi Ram, It was a bad move because Dhoni had Bravo who is a quality player and even himself. But instead Saha was promoted up the order.I agree that Dhoni and Morkel are match finishers. What about Bravo? He is not a match finisher. He just plays his shots and keeps up with the run rate. When the match finishers come in a bad situation, how can they play freely. They will find it difficult to take risks and score sixes and fours.Dhoni really needs to realize his decisions and make some good moves.

just one question.why batsmen of the calibre of morkel and bravo bat numbet 7 and 8? the csk top 6 must be very loaded to make these guys bat lower than hardbhajan.

Hi Star, I think Chennai Super Kings probably have the strongest batting line up comparing with the other teams. It is because of Dhoni, strong players such as Albie Morkel and Dwayne Bravo bat lower down the order.Their late strikes go in vain as the other batsmen slow down the run rate.I think you must have seen the CSK vs KXIP match.Bravo struck well but it was not enough as Saha wasted 8 balls and allowed the run rate to climb up.Morkel needed to have a go as 15 runs was required from 6 balls. It was unfortunate that he was not able to produce some sixes.

well sometime decision go good sometime not, this time it doesn't for dnoni he mad two poor decesion one as you said saha who played test in t20 and eve no perfectly that and anotner one he got run out. If he wouldnot have run that ball match result was diffrent. Gve credit to opposite team also. Punjab played sensible to win the macth as there was some twist and tiurns all over in the tiune of match as it progress to end. Finally Kings XI Punjab won by 7 runs Mandeep Singh made his second Twenty20 half-century to help Kings XI Punjab reach 156 Mandeep provided the initial acceleration for Punjab. The captain of Punjab Marsh is in great form in the IPL, helped him grow his pace and let punjab to a good opening with Punjab at 68 for 0 after eight overs. Marsh was caught out of R Ashwin bowling. Azhar Mahmood was sent up the orderbut he didn't contributed much as he was supposed to as on the other day he was star but today he din't shine. It late fumble for opunjab . David Hussey sent at last in which he had only four overs to bat, which meant he had to swing from ball one. He tired it but failed, soon after Mandeep's tired heave to long-off, and Punjab went on to lose 6 for 27 towards the end of the innings. It was R Ashwin who dried the dried up the runs early in the innings, while in the ends all bowlers have thier share. Dwayne Bravo took three wickets in overall. Faf du Plessis and S Badrinath will open Super Kings' chase and while Praveen Kumar open the bowling for punjab. Plessis as sual hit hard start with abng and he hit Bipul Sharma, make his a traget but Azhar Mahmood bowled Plessis. Still badrinath and Raina continues the chase well. It was hard for them as run rate was good. Soon Azhar Mahmood strikes and bowled Badrinatha and in few overs later Raina was get stumped. Dhoni get foolishly run out. jadeja was give life but didn't capitilized it. he was to caught of chawala. Still chance was there as bravo was there. he struck two sixes and some fours to praveen but he a an attempt got out. Morel had no option but he have to as Azhar Mahmood bowled very well in last over. What i think is that no big inning from the team chennai it was achivable task. Bad cluck for them Well played KXI pUnjab you deserve it.

Hi Kunda, It was really a poor decision from Dhoni. Why did he send Saha at no.4 when there are so many quality batsmen in the line up.Bravo and Dhoni himself must have batted at no.4.He turned blind and was run out by the wicket keeper.Late strikes from Bravo was not enough for CSK to win the match. They lost the match by 7 runs.Saha scored just 6 runs from 14 balls. He has wasted 8 balls and Csk lost the match by 7 runs.Hats off to Kings XI Punjab who won the match. They really deserve the win after couple of losses.

Well Dhoni is known for making those kind of decisions that are completely out of the way, but they still turn out to be good decisions. This time it just didn't work so there is no point of criticizing him!

Hi Dwayne, I agree with you Dwayne that he is known for making that kind of decisions. What about his form ?He was foolishly run out.He was a blind man and doesn't know where the balls was.I don't think really that was a good decision because Saha wasted 8 balls and CSK lost the match by 7 runs. There is another thing that normally Dhoni doesn't bat up the order. He comes at last and blames the other batsmen for their loss.It is absolutely stupid thing from the Indian captain.
