Hey guys,i just read an awesome book called "Croak" by Gina Damico.It is the story of a rebellious teenage girl.Who is sent to her uncle's house in the counrtry to get her head straight.Where she finds out that her uncle is more than just a farmer.He is a soul reaper and that she too has what it takes to be a soul reaper.And she turns out to be a really tallented one too.
This is a really interesting story.When i star8ted reading this,i couldn't even sleep till i finished reading this.But the book is a little too short.I wish it lasted a little longer.And the story ends with a wide range for the second book.Which i hope is coming soon.
And yea,If any of you know is any other good book by Gina Damico,please let me know.

That book sounds interesting. I have not read any novel by Gina Damico because I have not seen anything from her in our bookstore but I will check again. I also love stories like the one you have summarized. Also, it is a wonderful feeling when you could not put down the book until you have finished it. I missed that feeling, I should grab some book now.
Also, since you seems to appreciate stories like this, you might want to take a look at some novels penned by Christopher Moore. The difference though is that Moore's work tends to mixed some quirky sense of humor on his novel instead of being downright serious about it. But I love his work. Just in case you'll be interested as well. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for telling us about this book. I might read this book. I think authors write short stories because they think that people will get bored if their book is too long so they try to tell their story as short as possible. But if one is interested in reading novels then he or she wouldn't mind reading even long stories. Isn't it?

Well i don't care if the book is long if it is good.And i don't think that people who are really into reading would either.I don' think that the authors should rush through the sti=ory.It just spoils the fun in reading.

Hi, welcome to mylot!
I will have to check that book out. It sounds as if its right in my interests for a good read. A book has to grab me right away, or I bore of it so easily. It has to write in vivid words to get my brain to be a participant in the story line. Then I will feel a connection to the characters in the story. Its so sad when you feel like the movie ended to quick as it leaves an empty feeling. And in a way you mourn the characters and are eager to see how they are doing. LOL

This book is interesting.But the thing is that it ended way too soon.It feels as if the author rushed through the story.But i liked it nevertheless.

thank you for putting this book forward to my attention. i would not have heard or read about this book if not for your discussion. i may take a look at the reviews of this book. if i like the reviews, then i may take a look at the bookstore to see the feel of the book. thanks again for the recommendation.

i too found this book out of accident..I was actualy browsing through sony's online bookstore.And i saw this book.It somehow intrigued me..So i got this book and read it.If you are okay with reading ebooks,then you can buy it on sony's ebook store.

Thank you for bringing this book up. I love reading but I have a very difficult to satisfy taste because I'm always looking for unique plots and stories.I never settle for anything that is boring or can be read in many other books.I will definitely check it out and after I read it I will come back to this discussion and leave my opinion on it although it might be awhile because I currently have way too much books that I want to read.

Well everyone wants to read interesting stories.Nobody wants to read boring old novels.I think the point have reading novels and all is to wander in the world of imagination.So why bother reading boring novels?
And tell me about the list that you want to read.Maybe i will like some of them,
