Is it possible to be addicted to youtube?

Sure we are attracted by the media but we should be careful. Sometime I found good video to watch but they distroy my time. We have another things to do in life. We have homeworks, jobs, and family matters.

Hello there. I think it's really possible to be addicted in youtube. I admit that I'm one of the people who are addicted to it. Everytime I have the chance to use the internet for how many hours, I really want to open youtube. I keep on looking for the videos of the songs I was able to hear on the radio. If I could find the official music video of the song I heard, I feel very happy. I also keep on listening and watching the videos of my favorite singers, bands, boy groups and girl groups, famous people who make their own covers of some songs, movie trailers and other funny and enjoyable stuff in youtube. When I go to a PC room or a computer shop, I really want to borrow a headset for me to be able to listen to the sound of the song I like to hear and enjoy the video I would like to see. Watching a video is useless or a bit incomplete for me when I coudn't hear its sound. When I went to a PC room one time and the headset wasn't working well, I felt so sad. My internet browsing won't be complete without youtube. I could do a lot of things using the internet while listening to music from youtube. I want it to be my background music. I really love youtube. I want to open it everytime.:)

I definitely have that problem. Every time I go to youtube to find a video on a particular subject, the suggested, related videos that come up lead me to other subjects and more videos. I can end up spending an hour or more looking at all the cool stuff. Now when I go there, I just plan on being there a while watching videos. It's such a cool site. It makes me want to get a video camera and start posting them myself. Yup, I'm a youtube addict...

Im only on youtube when im really bored or when im on my smartphone(since smartphone constantly updates me on latest videos and such).Other than that,unless theres a really good song i want to listen to,im not on youtube.

ya definitely especially if you are a music lover , you tend to watch more of this and also the music videos that can fulfill you entertainment passion, but just be in moderately used of this media networking site, dont abuse the content of it , for a better surfing experience..

Oh yah! Just like getting addicted to Facebook or even myLot - ha ha!! Once and a while I get hooked on YouTube . . . for music video searches, or stuff for my kids. You can literally find everything there. It's literally my music source - so I can get hooked on it pretty easily while I do my earning stuff. And before you know it time has gone by!!

Yeah- that is definitely possible, you can be addicted to anything. There are times that i was like that- it happens often.. I start at this video and go to the related ones, and most of them are so interesting that i end up watching videos for 2 or 3 hours.

Youtube exists for when mylot has no sensible topics to reply to! I'm not addicted because I regular change the material I watch. One day comedy, one day science, one day making money scams, etc. Interesting videos? Now where did you find those?

Oh I love me some Youtube also. I look at the internet period like a gigantic book that is full of information. I have learned so much from that site though like couponing, and it is fun. Keep going, but you should not fall for the bull.

Hello there thechans. I also had that same problem back then when I was a newbie at using computers. You are right that almost all the thing that can interest you can be found on YouTube whether sports, music, television shows and so on. Yes, it is indeed possible to be addicted to YouTube because of this. But I think that this kind of addiction will fade off after a certain time specially when you get interested on other websites the internet has to offer. Furthermore, I think that addiction to watching YouTube videos are also helpful in some way specially if you watch informative videos like documentaries.

Nice Discussion Friend. I think it not possible to be addicted of youtube. It is a site where you can find thousands of video in a second but it useful when you want to find a video of some work. Time passing on youtube is waste of time.

I guess you could become addicted to youtube. If you watch videos all day. Although when you have nothing to do, watching videos all day can be something to entertain you. But if you're watching them all day, every day, then that would probably be an addiction.

People can be addicted to anything, so it is possible that you're addicted to youtube. I know the cute kitty videos can be difficult to turn away from.

It is still possible to be addicted in youtube. But i am not addicted to it 'cause i seldom visit the site. You are not alone in being addicted to websites especially for social networking sites. It is possible for people to be addicted because it is not a boring site and it is a video sharing site. We can find different types of videos here that suits our interests from comedy to action to drama to music to wholesome to mature. No doubt many like this website. :)
