Are you able to get your old friends through the social networks?

Well, yes. I was able to be in touch with them now. I just type their name and I found their names. I was very glad. It is in Facebook. There are some who I typed my name but I cannot find in facebook. Later, I learned that they are using a different surnames because they are already married. In facebook we can have an easy contact with friends using mutual friends.

Yes, lol. I'm even being able to meet with my kindergarten friends Perhaps because I am young enough. And my generation are used to use social network..

I was able too... however we mostly speak once in a good while and we never met. I actually think FaceBook is kind of useless, it's a waste of time and only leads me to know about thinks I didn't even want to know. However, it's good for organizing things, I must admit.

i have never heard of orkut but i have found a lot of people on facebook. there was 1 friend me and my husband use to hang around in school with everyday but when i graduated i lost touch them whenmy husband dropped out of school he lost touch and then i saw his name on facebook 1 day and that brought us closer together than we were before. he even plays around with my kids and he loves for us to come over to his house and to bring the kids so they can play with his animals and his brothers and sisters. it was nice to reconnect with him and his girlfriend. social networks are awesome for finding people you miss :)

Yes I also have found many school friends about them I have completely forgotten about them and in facebook I found them.Now once in 2 months we have a meet and enjoy with our old friends and now we are in touch.Once it happened that one girl sent me a request and then I started wondering who is she and then I asked my other friends about her and one of them said to me that she used to sit in first bench and was very quiet and then I realized its her and I forgot her because she was there with us for one year only.And now we are a good friend and recently I attended her marriage also.So facebook is a great site to find old friends.

Yes, I am able to contact many of my school and college friends with the support of facebook. I like facebook very much. Without it, I would not have been able to find my old friends.

i am able to, i think. my friends are quite easy to convince to try out the social network.. and some of them would sign up but eventually bail out as they could not completely monitor their page... hehe

I have been able to find some old freinds on Facebook and another site that I frequent. My BFF finally went online. I was so excited. She lives afew states away and has the cheapest phone known to man. Our phone calls are very frustrating for me because I can hear her clearly. So when she finally decided to go online I was very happy. We chat and poke eachother daily. Fun.

Social networking site whatever it is, was a great way to keep in touch with friends, neighbor, family, etc. Even they have live or work in overseas, its the cheapest way to keep in touch.

Hi ajithlal: From my high school I just talk regularly with my best friend those years. Most of the people that studied with me have done things with their lifes. Some of them are even living in other countries. At least I can say that most of them are my friends on Facebook so I can find out some news about them. ALVARO

No I have not. However, I still enjoying meeting some new faces whom I have not known or met at any particular time of my life. However, If I am able to find my old school mates on facebook or twitter, I think that would be great and I will be very happy to meet any.

Yes, i have friends connected with me on fabebook but not much on my twitter account. I have friends on facebook which are my classmates from elementary and high school and now with college. Even also my cousins from who live in different places. And it is an advantages of having them on facebook because most of them, i do not have any contact with them anymore with phones. And the only way that we stay connected is by facebook. But honestly, not all of my old friends personally are not still my friends in social networking sites. But maybe, in time i will also stay connected with them. :) . In addition, i am also making connections on facebook from people around our country even we do not know each other through facebook groups and pages of our own interests whick making it like what is happening here in mylot.

There are some buddies/friends/acquaintances I haven't met in such a long time (like kids from elementary school and stuff), and it's so strange that we can talk anytime through Facebook :).

At first I'm asking why I should join in that social networking site. I thought it is for teens only. But when one of my friends told me to join she told me that we can saw our old friends. I saw lots of my elementary and even high school friends. It is our way of seeing each other for so many years and we came up to plans our reunion every year.

I have found some of my old friends on Facebook. I have found some classmates from elementary school, some classmates from high school, and some friends from nursing school. I have also found some of my old neighbours. I think it is very nice to talk to old friends again. We have lots of things to talk about, because we haven't seen eachother for a very long time. Unfortunately there are two friends that I haven't been able to find. One of the them is a friend from elementary school and the other one is a friend from nursing school. I think that they got married and changed their names, so it is very hard to find them.
