I've got a new net book. Called it pricey but I have to. It's going to be my birthday present for myself. I skip the payment for the house and I'm just going to catch up for next month as I work on it more here. I have to buy a net book in replacement for my laptop because it keeps on hanging on me and not to mention I have to use the company's PC as I'm earning my way here in mylot. I know I have a lot of things to do but call it somewhat being practical. Now; I'm using the free net here in the mall. I'll have to do with the internet connection later =) How many of you mylotters are using their net books and uses free wifi?

I don't have a netbook and I use my home's DSL internet connection. I can't afford to have a netbook due to my course's needs. Netbooks cannot handle my workload such as imaging, photo-editing and animation. The laptop that I'm using is made to cater all that I've mentioned, so I guess I'm lucky that my father found this and bought this to me as a gift when I was still in my first year in college. Anyways, I like how you think. You paid yourself first before you pay others. I like that! The remaining problem, you take as a challenge and motivation to work harder. Hope you the best and Happy MyLotting!

Thanks for encouragements... hahaha; This is somewhat an investment as I do multiple jobs here. Being a mylotter needs better resources and such; like a faster net book and an iinternet connection. Hope that your computer and laptop also helps you for improvement and course related tasks. Happy mylotting as well~!!

Of course! My laptop is a computer for multimedia. It's the best specs I could ever get in making my projects, research papers, programming and modeling. I don't have any offline jobs aside for staying at home and recovering my health. That's why instead of doing nothing, I prefer using my time going over the internet to earn something--just like mylotting!

Having a laptop is a great convience. Being the fact that it's protable, you can take it practially anywhere. As many others have mentioned having a laptop, you can work online from anywhere, coffee shop, the mall, etc. It really is a great tool to have. I use mine all the time.

I kinda admit but I have to gave up of my old laoptop for good. it is not being productive for me and doesn't works wonders in the internet anymore because it's not wifi yet and it should use a wired connection on it. Too bad. But for some, as I sell the laptop to them; they still find it fine. Maybe for light uses and such. I do think the leptop gets a rightful owner ^_^-) As for us; we should use have these babies all the time. These net books are really convenient it allows us to be connected anytime aside from cellphones.

Ah I see. I use my laptop all the time, and I'm on a wired connection. I don't mind a wired connection, to me it seems faster. I do have wifi and wireless, but I hardly use them.

congratulations for having your new netbook. so we are now using the same thing now in mylotting. it's convenient to have a wifi ready unit like our netbook and bring it to a mall or any other establishment offering free wifi connection. but still, it cannot be compared having your own broadband connection. good luck.

Thanks ^_^-) What's my greatest dilemma now is the wifi keeps on disconnecting at me and when I tried to post my topics and responses; I falis and not posting. Then I have to typre everything again. One mylotter says that I should have Opera as a browser so when you hit the back button in case; ti doesn't loose everything. Happy mylotting with me also, Neil =)

I am also using a netbook. This was a gift from my ex-boyfriend last 2010.I had my desktop computer before that I use whenever I post discussions here in mylot but now it is not functioning. Thanks God that I have extra computer with me. The only disadvantage of netbook is its size. It is small and if you have a poor eyesight, netbook is really not adviseable. You seem to be a practical person and responsible. Sometimes, I also mylot using the computers in the school once I have my free time.

You're a one lucky (ex)girlfriend indeed.hahaha.. and you ARE already~! The old laptop is so sturdy; it was thrown outside the room by my exboyfriend who keeps on complaining I don't have time for him anymore. (Can you imagine a guy getting jealous over the laptop and threw it away that heavy thing?) And kudos to that guy; my laptop did prove it to me that it is still alive and kicking afterwards. Luckily; I have all the time in the world to do mylot now.

Well I am not using free wifi for now, all the networks in my area are passworded, Am not even using a laptop here on mylot, I prefer using my phone-My blackberry 9780 and I-phone 4. Pretty expensive when it comes to subscription but most times I don't care as I use them for other purposes.

Hahaha.. On the contrary; I'm trying to use my phone's browser for mylot but it doesn't works. That's why I want to get a laptop or a net book instead. The money used to bought this net book was supposed to be for the house's monthly dues for amortization and half of it will be for the upcoming event that I was about to organized but I declines in doing that since there's no progress.

Well I guess it strongly depends on the kind of phone you are using, I don't like using my laptop, its so expensive to pay for subscription, and every thing I do there I can do on my phones and I do them way cheaper so I just stick to this one.try to get a phone with advanced phone browsers and you will be home free. So how are you going to pay for the bills?

Now wait; that's a brand of chewing gums; right? Hahaha.. and I was like; it's going to be fun typing more in mylot using this babe. What a nice net book indeed. Happy mylotting to us!

Yeah. Good for you. I'm also planning to use the free wifi in the malls. You have to buy gadgets like netbook because it will be a good investment for you in your life. I hope I can use the services of free wifi in the malls in NCR. Where do you go for those free wifi? I'm not so sure if all of the malls have free wifi.

I'm not using a net book. What I'm using right now is a lap top, and like you, it is hanging up on me. But I treasure it so much because it has been with me since I was in college. About the free wifi, I can seldom catch free wifi nowadays. Almost everyone has learned to put a password in their wifi now, so using free wifi is like a big miracle. You can rarely find one nowadays.

Hello there resy21curapika. I am also using my net book when all I want to do is surf the web and log in to mylot. I am glad that you gave yourself a present because it seems like you work pretty hard? Giving yourself a reward for handwork, I think, is a good positive reinforcement for you to work harder and be able to pay your bills. Just remember not to skip paying your house bill too often. Manage your time and money well. And oh, I also use free wifi when I am in malls. It's free connection and nothing beats free. Godbless you.

Hahaha...same thing here. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about it. I really want to use mylot more so I got myself a net book. I don't want to have that "limited time" excuse anymore. And now that I have a all-time access; I will be able to enjoy it more here using this net book. In my cell phone; although it has a browser; It doesn't displays mylot correctly. I'm hoping that they could get a phone apps for mylot. hahaha.. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and happy mylotting!
