is the performance of indian players in IPL,favour them in the world cup?

hi friends.someone told me the T20 world cup is nearing. whatever. but when each and every discussion is solely based on IPL for almost 2 months,sometimes its good to look beyond IPL. how are the indian players performing so far? it might be used as an yardstick for their performance in the world cup. lets look. whats the usual menu.sehwag,gambhir,kohli,raina,dhoni,jadeja,pathans,zaheer,ashwin,praveen,rohit.add a new guy here and there. so how have these players performed. sehwag started slowly but now the match winner for DD. so does gambhir.he is turning it on. kohli somehow lost the art of converting the 20's and 30's to big ones.thats worry. raina did not shine that well with duplesis hogging everything.lol jadeja hits sixes here and there but even dhoni is not willing to let him bowl his full quota.another worry. one pathan having a poor IPl,the other a much better IPL ashwin is another mystery.he has a good economy of under 6.5 but ranked 46th in the wicket taker's list with just 3 wickets is not that good,is it? rohit shines here and there so does dhoni. over all,with present performance this team wont even reach semis

I think what is most heartening is the form of Sehwag and Rahane. Both have been in blistering form and have been winning matches for their respective sides. If they continue on the same path, then it is good news for Team India. One bad news so far is the form of Raina. Cheers! Ram

of course its a very good place for them to showcase their talents and i am sure that they will get good new information's and tactics from IPL

As you said the performance of almost permanent Indian cricket team squad is not up to The limit. Only sewag, gambir and rohit is showing some form. kohli, raina, dhoni, praveen are nowhere near to there form. But i an sure that the eleven's that you mentioned will have some change as some new young players are plating well in this IPL like rahane,raydu. But i still feels that the main area that Indian team to worry is bowling department as any of the indian bowlers are not shining in this IPL. As you said ashwin is economical but not taking wicket. Bhajji is is long way away to make his reentry in to the team. Munaf was taking wicket in the start of the tournament but seems to lost his form he is too expensive. zaheer is also not taking wickets or not seems to be a dangerous bowler. Ojha is not getting a place in the team to show his talent. So as you said the team will remain almost same with 1 or 2 changes. I expect rahane back in the team.
