Hello, I am a new member. I am hoping that you like my discussions. Thank you.
The usual habit of human is drinking coffee especially every morning, it is to prepare themselves for works, activities and daily routines. Some people say,"I cant go out in my house without coffee", other people says "My day will never be complete without coffee". If you're one of this people, did you ever ask yourself if coffee is really helpful to you or it only brings harmful effects?.

I love coffee.I just can't help myself.I haven't seen any harmful effects on myself but when my mother got pregnant the doctor told her not to drink coffee so I guess it's harmful in some way.On the other hand though I have heard that coffee even has some positive effects like lowering the risks of some kinds of cancer.I would say that if you love coffee you shouldn't hold yourself back because you are afraid for your health.Coffee doesn't seem to cause any serious medical conditions so I think coffee drinkers such as myself are generally safe.

Coffee may not be harmful to us.But it is a different case with babies. Caffeine is not good for them.i think that is why the doctor told her not to drink coffee during pregnancy.

Dear friend,
Welcome to mylot....It is known that hot coffee is good during winter especially when there is coufing, cold, other coldness inside. If we mix chocolate in it, it could taste better too. Moreover here we put few ginger (after crushing it) in hot cofee espeically during winter. At times when there is stomach upset black coffee with someing lemon drops with salt and sugar mixed is taken. I feel there is sure to be medicinal side of coffee. But too much is no doubt harmful. I do take occassionally, not yet addicted to it.

HI,
Coffee, my favorite drink and i don't say no at any of the time, weather or whatever. But i prefer hot rather cold coffee.
ofcourse it helps me a lot when i need to refresh myself. During headaches, cold or even if i am off mood, coffee helps me feel better. It is good for me as long as the harmfulness has not touched me.
So enjoy your cofee with mylot, you will have more coffee lovers join you. Welcome and for better understanding about this site, please read the faq / guidelines session. Happy cofeeing & lotting!

I've read some articles about coffee's effects on the web. Before, I always believed that coffee is harmful to our health, that's why I'm not a regular coffee drinker. But recently, studies have shown that coffee has its beneficial effects too. We just have to take it in moderate amounts, or else, we will suffer. Always remember that too much of everything is also bad. Happy myLotting, maryraid!

People of all ages love coffee specially the young generation of today. but the problem is that it contains caffeine in it which is harmful. but people are addicted to coffee. even i myself have a cup everyday or so. it refreshes the mind and brings out the inner energy of oneself. But doctors say that small amounts of caffeine gradually increase make up to more and that is harmful. even coffee is not encouraged for pregnant women for the fear of damage to the unborn babies.
but for me i love the smell of coffee, its flavours and a cup of cafe latte with my chocolate and a nice book to go with it and there you go :)

Coffee can work several ways. For people who really need that extra pick me up in the morning to get your day started, then might need coffee, or for people who need to stay awake because they fall asleep often, then they might really need some coffee. For people who have ADD or ADHD, then they might need coffee to calm them down.
Some people like to go on coffee dates. I did that with every guy I ever went out with. It was like a job interview because I was interviewing potential boyfriends, and if they didn't meet my standards during the coffee date, then they were gone. Coffee dates really are a great way to stay awake and get to know people.

Hi! Well, I think that in moderation, coffee is fine, I mean two or three cups a day. Recently I went to see my doctor suffering from severe panic symptoms, and he asked about my coffee intake. The truth is at the time, I was drinking one cup of tea or coffee after the other, with sugar, and after having skipped breakfast. Clearly, this amount of coffee is terribly bad for you, especially with no or little food. A blood test revealed further health issues. It took a long time for me to feel relatively normal again. I'm not blaming the gargantuan amounts of coffee I was ingesting...but they can't have helped, especially as I'd been skipping breakfast more or less consistently for years. I still drink too much coffee, but I've cut down on the sugar. And some days, I try and eat some kind of breakfast.

I'm not a coffee drinker. For me, coffee is just something I'd have occasionally. Even that, it'd probably not a strong black coffee; instead, I'd have iced coffee like the ones they serve at McDonalds, for instance.

I drink pure water upon waking up. But I do drink coffee sometimes after breakfast... sometimes in the afternoon and sometimes just after supper...
Some say coffee is antioxidant... so it must be good... but don't drink too much...
