NEVER cheat on a Dentist!
I was reading a news article about a Female Dentist in Poland, whose (Now very Much Ex!) B/F had cheated on Her and Left Her for another..
And then somehow thought He'd be OK going to see her as a Patient when he got a toothache a few days later..
She DID pull the offending tooth for him...
(wait for it!)
AND all the rest of them while He was under the anaesthetic..She left him toothless..
She's now facing Malpractise charges, and maybe Jail..
Worth it? Justified? Revenge has been served?
What do you think?

I read this just this morning. I think she went way overboard. I know her heart was broken but that happens to people all the time. Most people just move on.
I think she should have simply turned him away when he came to her with the toothache, maybe with a few choice words following him out the door, perhaps a question or two about his sanity.
Sadly, I don't think she's completely sane (which may be the reason he left her for someone else?) because a rationally-thinking person would not have a doubt about the illegality and ramifications of pulling every tooth in this idiot's head.
Yes, he's an idiot for going to her in the first place. Even if she were the only dentist for 100 miles, I'd travel that 101 miles to see the next dentist if I were in his shoes.

I'd like to have heard his side of the story as to why He dumped Her and what possessed him to think He was still in a position of trust with Her on going into her Surgery..I'm wondering Was He a Patient of Hers when they began dating?

I don't know that I would trust her after leaving her for someone else. I may have thought she would make it as painful as possible but that. Ya, I wondered if she couldn't be charged for that one. Wow! Anger and revenge let people get into this sort of a scrape. Bottom line though-- It is funny and I don't blame her a bit!

I do understand the hurt and anger that she must have felt to be betrayed like that. I can even understand her wanting and thinking about getting revenge on him, but acting on those thoughts is an entirely different story. She was a professional, and to sacrifice not only her career but also possibly her freedom for him was just plain stupid, especially since he obviously was not worth her time in the first place knowing how he betrayed her.

Great! This reminds me of something that happened years ago. A doctor was raped, she took of the guys balls afterwards! The only mistake she made was she used anaaesthetic and did a good surgery so it was no self defence anymore. Still I admire that woman! We live in a world where victims are not protected at all, the criminals are. I think it's justice and that guy got what he deserved. There is no reason to cheat at all, if you don't like your relationship end it first. How hard can that be.

Honestly, this response really disturbs me. Like Forever said, would you feel the same way if it was a man who was cheated on?
Revenge just lowers the victim to the original offender's level and makes them unsympatethic, especially if the original offense was just a mistake or crime of passion, like cheating. You say "criminal," but, at least where I live, adultery is not a crime. It's a serious mistake. Ever heard of "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind"? "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"?

I wouldn't say the Guy was deformed by what happened..Humiliated and inconvenienced by having to take his meals liquidized for some time, sure, and it's going to cost a bundle for restorative dental work, either in implants or dentures..Which He'll probably get from court awarded damages..
Plus, the Woman He dumped the Dentist for left him as a result!

I'd never have such a childish revenge, but I understand where she's coming from. But she was so stupid for having this is a revenge. She could've done something less threatening for her job and her life, if she had to...
but I think the best revenge is always showing the other that we're living a complex and happy life without them.

She's crazy for ruining her career, and he's crazy for going to his ex after cheating on her and expecting her to do a routine check-up...

The breakup must have been tough on Her,when She went to this extreme for payback..She had to have considered what the consequences would be for doing this, right?

First of all ... what was he thinking?? Secondly, that's funny and I wish I could say it would be worth it. But the bigger picture ... she'll pay the heavier price. Unless she can avoid jail and malpractice. Still ... he's toothless.

What do I think? WHO DOES THAT is what I think!!!! I file this under justice served, and not even for wronging the ex in the first place...no no that isn't the crime that he's paid for. His greatest offense is making the decision after cheating on her, leaving her, to put himself in a position where he would be completely helpless and possibly unconscious in THE SAME ROOM as the person he offended. I mean seriously, none of these thoughts crossed his brain? Is there that much of a shortage of dentists in the UK Shep? Where there were no other dentists in his vicinity???? Did she lure him in with a free treatment; and if so, why did this man's brain not scream TRAAAAAAAP???? Yeah, he got exactly what he deserved, if only by natural selection lol. We aren't that far in, but my vote for dumbest man of the century goes to him!

As I read the story,The Couple involved in this are both Polish and the incident took place in Poland..But whoever was to blame for the breakup,He should have been able to see that one coming!

My point exactly....I probably would let the dentist go on light charges...I mean she's got blame in this but DUMMY!!!!! That's the last place you should go to be THAT vulnerable! I wouldn't give him a lick of restitution I know that much.
Makes me think of an old Tom and Jerry clip lol

This story actually was shown on my local news this morning. You forgot to mention that the new girlfriend ended up dumping him. Turns out she couldn't date a guy that didn't have any teeth lmbo!

Oh goodness. Well I don't think being sued for malpractice is worth it. Revenge is certainly served but not worth her career and her practice. I think she should have figured out some other way to get back at him.

When Hanging was still on the statute books for theft, there was a saying derived from it.."As well hung for a Sheep as for a Lamb.." She was crossing the line when she pulled that first Healthy tooth..and kept going..She'd have been facing charges for misconduct once She started anyway..

I understood he didn't get to see the results of her handiwork right away, until getting to see in a mirror later on..I know MY mouth feels strange after being numbed,I had a filling done recently..You have to wonder what his first reaction was...

What she did was wrong. Understandable but very wrong. She should've just walked away. If the temptation was there, for her own sake she should have just referred him to another dentist. Now she has consequences to pay. She will likely lose her license and possibly go to jail. Revenge isn't worth hurting yourself that badly.
He is obviously an idiot. I don't feel terribly sorry for him. He's lucky she didn't pull something else out for his trouble.

She may have had her revenge but losing her career and all the hard work she put up for it just because of her revenge isn't worth it all. She could have done a better thing instead. Moving on and seeking for a good life and proving to the guy that he is a loser after everything would be the best. After all, she is a professional. She could have did what she can with her life and just move on instead of thinking about getting back at him. Also, the guy could have at least thought about consulting to her ex GF first before everything else. He could have made sure everything is already okay with them both. In that case, this situation may have been avoided. Reading it for the first time made me laugh, really. :D But then, thinking about how the dentist lost her career because of this reason made the think other wise. Well, I guess this would be a lesson for everyone then. ;)
