Why do we need love?

It is how they were bought up or should I say how they Weren't brought up. I was taught to think about the other person. I was taught to be polite. but sadly many are not taught empathy so they just assume they are the only person that matters.And this is why I don't agree with you . Not everyone Wants or seeks love. But the ones that do , Must be open to it. That means putting a loved one first, and note when things are good.

Love is a human need. Everyone needs it. There is something about it that brings humans together. I think that Respect, Love, and Diginity all go together. If no one feels loved or they have no love, then they will feel empty. It is kinda hard to explain this from a philosphical view, but I think that love is a very powerful emotion.

People craved for love is because it empowered them in a way that they can fulfill their inner and deep emotional needs. To seek love and wanting love is part of nature for human and many living creatures. Love soften the heart of a man /woman instead of harden them. It is a pathetic situation for those who claimed they don't need love and can live solely without love from another person, by saying so, it doesn't make them 'Tough', except 'Pathetic'. The song "Love is in the Air" explain clearly why love is much needed in today world. Without love, our world will be a cold and dark one.

Love is important. There are always tough times when everything goes wrong, however, if you have someone by your side that you can count on no matter what, you feel so much more encouraged and prepared for anything. Not to mention there are/will be times when you will need someone to take care of you and vice versa. I don't think anyone is able to survive when there is noone that loves them.

What people need most is self esteem. This has nothing to do with being loved and depend on that love from a "stranger". It will only break you down if you depend on that or are looking for that to feel happy. What people do need is to love themselves first. If you don't love yourself, are not able to pamper yourself, to take care of yourself why should someone else. There different kinds of love and the love of your life is seldom what you expect from it. It mostly is a lot of stress, about giving up on yourself and giving in. I don't agree with you people only do things for their own benefit. There are a lot of people always ready to give away what they have, so many people give to good raise funds, even if it never arrives or organisations fill their own pockets/bank account. This besides of the fact there are, and always been, plenty of so called beggars and scammers abusing good people all over the world. the world now is not different from hundreds of years ago, people are not different either. If people would be more selfish, if they would take care of theirself first they would feel more happy. Only if you are happy you are able to do the same to someone else. Why do you think so many people have a bad health, are visiting a shrink? Not because they are selfish but because they don't take care about themselves first. Now my question is: what do you do for others? How do you help them out? I can tell you I did a lot for others, no matter if they were family or strangers. I did not make 1 single friend in 40 years time with all my good deeds. They all abused me, my kids were even hungry while they lived like a king and I was nearly bankrupt because of them. In the end they all said it was my own free coiche even they manipulated me in every way they could think of. If you are good to others you will only attract abusers, people who find it normal to treat you like dirt. If you want to change the world start with yourself first.

Love is everything. We can have peace on earth if we love. No matter what the situation is if there is love then all is well.

However, since we became more social beings instead of merely animals, we have started to fall in love more because we like to have someone who we can rely on more than anything else. This means that we an be close to someone and know that they are always going to be there for us if anything should happen for some reason. I love being in love, and I don't think that I would ever want to change that for any reason at all.

we need love to survive. I need love in order i could wake up every morning and endure all the pain this life could throw at me.

Yes, I think that everyone loved to be loved and some like to love people. Love is also the motivation factor to let our life keep on moving towards our destination.

I have heard that the most greatest feeling in this world is to love and be love in return. If the person loves you truly as much as you love him/her, that would make the two of you happy. But if the person that you're giving a special love makes you feel not so good then that means he/she doesn't really love you. Most of the people are user, they love you for what you can give and not for who you are, but most of the user are the kind of people who will never know what they've got until it's gone. Try to have a self respect. Besides, how can you love someone if you can't even love yourself.
