Are you growing anything this spring?

I just have a little balcony, but I'm growing several pots of green beans and also trying to grow potato plants from sprouting potatoes.
So what's in your garden or window-box? I'd be interested to see the number of people growing flowers, fruits and veggies, or both.

Okay, lets see if I can remember them all....
I've been growing trees of: peach, lemon, apple, acorn and avocado ... for a couple years now. Only one peach tree is outside, the rest are still growing inside.
I have 2 blueberry bushes outside.
In my garden, I'll have: green beans, string beans, peas, 2 kinds of cucumbers, 3 kinds of tomatoes, 4 kinds of peppers, cabbage, spinach, and lettuce.
In pots I'll grow: basil, parsley and catnip.
Later this year I hope to grow: pumpkins.
In the front and side of my house, I'll grow: sunflowers.
I think I have them all! I considered trying watermelon and cantaloupe again, but I think I may pass this year. Last year they didn't grow too well and since this is supposed to be a dry summer, I may skip them and try again next year.
I've never grown potatoes, what kind are you going to grow?

Wow, that's great! Someday when I have a yard, that's the kind of garden I'd like. And I do really enjoy growing pumpkins; I love the big tangle of vines that can grow from just one seed.
These are just white potatoes, sprouts from a potato I got at the store. I don't know if they'll actually produce, but it was easy to get them started and it's a unique little sprout.

Good luck with your growing, you don't need a lot of space to grow some goodies and you get so much satisfaction from eating food you've grown yourself. I have a big herb garden, I love to have fresh herbs to pick at - mint, rosemary, dill, thyme, basil, marjoram, parsley, chives, coriander and rosemary. I also grow strawberries, raspberries and pears also potatoes, aubergines (egg plants), asparagus, tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber.

We have a small garden with peas, green beans, tomatoes, corn, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, okra, marigolds, basil, chives & cilantro. I also planted a row of cutting flowers (mixed variety). So far everything is doing nicely. We have already had problems with deer eating the corn though. We put up a big of deterrents for them this weekend. I hope it works.

I don't have a big space either to grow flowers or vegetables. But I did find a great book on container gardening. I plan on growing some flowers and maybe some vegetables. If you go to my profile page you'll find the link. The site is called Green Thumb Gardening.

I've got quite a big garden to the front and the side of my house - but no room for a vegable patch. Too many trees and shrubs.I do, however, plant up tubs and baskets of flowers in brightly-coloured or terracotta pots and woven baskets.
I grow potatoes and tomatoes in big grow-sacks on the terrace at the back of the house. i grow lettuce and rocket in tubs. I also ATTEMPT to grow onions, courgettes and carrots in tubs - without success! I'll keep on trying!
