I'm about at that age where I should be thinking where I want to retire. I'd like to stay in the US. I heard that Nevada and Florida have no State tax. Don't know if that's true. Of the two, I'm leaning more toward Nevada. Not as humid. What do you think?

You might as well travel to both places and look at the facilities there.
Not all places are built for the convenience of old people.
I think the cost of living is another factor.
You have to factor in the price of a house, or rental apartment, plus medical care and all other amenities.

I like Arizona personally. I hear that they have free medical for senior citizens as well. Even though it gets extremely hot in the Summer, all other seasons are beautiful! I don't like Florida because of all the snakes, alligators and other exotic animals roaming around. Arizona is beautiful if you find the right place to live there.
