I just checked their Help Center - http://www.clixsense.com/en/Helpdesk-FAQ/6-1 - and found that Clixsense had increased minimum balance to cashout to $20 for both Standard members and Premium members!
To remove tension a bit, it's only applied for cashout with Liberty Reserve
Perhaps Liberty Reserve seems to be less popular than Paypal, but I use Liberty Reserve for cashing out on Clixsense. :( It is more beneficial for me, and it has less processing fees anyway, only $0.25.
Now I need to wait a little longer till my earning accumulate to $20. Ouch. I wish they will set it back to $8 for Standard members and $6 for Premium members..
Anyway, I just a bit upset with them, at least they should inform this change to members. But so far, I see no announcement.. :(
So, has this change affected you in any ways? Please share your view about this. :)

Paypal and alertpay is much better than LR....
20$ is not a huge amount now at clixsense to earn one can easily reach there if they are active on it

For me, LR is somewhat better :p
But you are right, with help of task section, that $20 should relatively easier to be reached :).
Still, they should inform this change first, at least. I should have reached the minimum cashout today, but I didn't see any "Request Cashout" button. And, man, I was surprised by the time I realized they increased the minimum payment to $20.

I'm not affected by this change; but if you don't mind can I ask you about another change I' m notified by Clixsense? They emailed me to move my account to PHD bux by May 2nd. Is this legitimate notice or a scam? I read in the email that I have to sign up for PHD bux to do so. Shall I follow the instructions? And if I do, what will happen to my account in Clixsense? Will it be closed with the balance automatically moved to new PHD bux account?

I highly believe that it's only scam notification.
"moving account" is not legitimate at all, since PHDBux owner is not related at all with Clixsense. And also, even if it's right, there would be larger notification, not only on email (and I don't receive such email, btw).
Just ignore the email and enjoy your time on Clixsense.

You should have started by telling us it's only for Liberty Reserve! Well, I think this doesn't affect many members because LR may be the less used payment processor they support (including checks), but they should have announced it so the few members who uses it, you for example, doesn't get awful surprises when they want to cash out at 6-8 dollars. It doesn't affect me in any way as I don't use LR and I also have seen it at $20 few days ago, this change is not that new. If I was affected by this, I wouldn't be very upset to be honest. At ClixSense I can be sure that my money will be safe, I turst them enough to let the money grow on my account without worrying about being scamed. When you cash out at $20 it will be a much higher amount and will make you happier!!

I should be able to use Paypal for cashout, anyway. But.. It would be less profitable for me . So I think I will wait instead .
You are right, I also trust them enough so I don't really worried with my balance.
It just, it will.. take more time.
So, how do you cashout from Clixsense? If you are using Paypal, is the withdrawal fees $0.25 + 2% like they said? Just want to recheck, hehe. :p

Ohh mann... $20 is no joke...that's going to take you forever unless you have quite a number of referrals backing you up..but if you don't.. that's going to be a big problem
but liberty reserve is good imo.. because through liberty reserve you can also pay some trusted HYIP programs out there.

Well, I don't believe there are any "trusted HYIP programs" as not only common knowledge, also Wikipedia too clasifies them all together in the same bag as total scam websites. From wikipedia:
"A high-yield investment program (or programme), HYIP, is a type of Ponzi scheme, which is an investment scam that promises unsustainably high return on investment by paying previous investors with the money invested by new investors."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-yield_investment_program
I believe the reason they use LR is not only PayPal won't alow these business to operate with them, else to prevent chargebacks from customers when they turn scam too.

I am not using any HYIP site, but I still prefer Liberty Reserve most.
It is because I have found good exchanger site that allows me to sell my LR balance with good currency exchange rate. It is even better than Paypal's currency exchange rate. And there is no extra fees.
Too bad it is only using Indonesian Rupiah. I don't really know about any other legit exchangers that using another currency though.. :(
Btw, 20$ in Clixsense seems to be achievable enough within some reasonable time, with helps of task section..

True, receiving payments will also be difficult for most. Although, you can use exchangers to do so. I simply use Paypal and Alertpay just because of the ability to file a transaction dispute. I may consider using STP though but I don't need it right now.

For sending payment, yes, they might be not that good..
But for receiving payment..
..it means they can't perform chargeback/dispute to us, right? xD.
I never use Liberty Reserve for paying something anyway xD. But perhaps most people will found difficulties to turn that LR balance into their real currency.. :o

Noo, believe me, it would not take all of the life time :p. With the help of task, you should be able to reach the cashout a lot faster
But anyway, without speaking of Clixsense, using Liberty Reserve as payment processor is quiet good. You should try it one day, perhaps with other site..

I also have the same curiosity. But perhaps it is because Clixsense Admin has run out of fund in his Liberty Reserve balance.. I wish they will make some official announcement though.
Btw, this change will affect both Standard and Premium members who are using LR, as it's $20 for both

I had also planned to withdraw on Liberty Reserve but now i'll have to withdraw on some other method because my earning speed is bit slow and making $20 will take me a very long time.

Ah, finally a person who share the same problem with me Have you ever cashed out from Clixsense using Liberty Reserve anyway?
By using another payment processor, such as Paypal of Alertpay, of course the minimum cashout will be a lot lower now. But I think I will wait till I accumulate $20 in my account balance instead..
