I love listening to a music but I can't sleep when it's playing. I know there are people who loves to listen even when there about to sleep. I remember my friend she used to sleep with the TV or radio on and she will wake up when the music stops.
How about you? Please share....

Love sleeping while listening to music. Even heavy kinds of music can create a feeling of traveling for me. Even if i don't feel like sleeping, I can put my earphones on, close my eyes and just relax. In the end, falling asleep is usually something inevitable. Only bad thing is that the bettery runs out if I don't wake up soon enough to turn the player off.:P

Absolutely not, in any way. I can not sleep with the radio on. Apart from the fact that when I sleep I demand that every electrical device is disabled, I could never sleep with the music that plays in my ears. However I am aware that some people can just sleep with music.just they can, for me remains a mystery!

Well if you put some soothing songs then you will feel relaxed and then it will help you sleep instead of keeping you from sleeping.Maybe you should try this.

No, if I have music on my eyes may go to sleep but my brain keeps very busy with the words of the songs when the music is playing. So that is just not very restful sleep at all.

I usually go to sleep listening to the songs from my ipod.I actually like sleeping that way.I only take off the ipod when i start turning in the sleep and the earphone starts hurting my ears.It is a really nice way to sleep. When i am on my bed and listening to music,i think about stuff that happened and about what i want to do and places i want to go and all.It is really soothing to sleep with the music tuned on.

Hello Lynboobsy!
I love falling asleep with my headphones on. Just put it on low volume, a nice beat and I'm off to Dreamland. It's great, you sleep well, and so on. The only bad thing about it is that you will probably, like me, wake up in the middle of the night wondering how you ever fell asleep with those headphones on :D Then you will have to turn them off and go back to sleep. Best way ever to fall asleep, in my opinion.
Have a good day ;)

There are times I can sleep through just about anything, including music. I get strange soporific spells, where it's easy for me to sleep and dream deeply at the drop of a hat; but they are quite rare. And usually, I don't find it that easy to drop off to sleep, although will do eventually...and talking especially will prevent sleep in my case. As will any kind of noise, no matter how soft; such as a dripping tap. However, music I tend to be OK with, because it's a flowing noise, as opposed to a jarring one.

If I am tired enough I can but if I am not too tired I want to listen and pay attention to the music. And it's the same when it comes to the t.v. being on, if I am tired enough I don't even realize it's on but when I am still not to sleepy I want to watch it.

I have never been able to sleep with any other noise going on in the room, even though my brother can sleep with his music on and regularly does this. When I was a student and living in student halls, I had a lot of trouble with this kind of thing because people would play their music late into the night meaning that I was not able to sleep. However, I do quite like to listen to it for an hour or so before I go to bed because I find that it relaxes my muscles and means that I am able to have a much better night's sleep than I would have done otherwise.

I can not sleep with music on because I have to have it quiet and dark to get any kind of good sleep.

Any kind of voice or sound reverbrating in the room when i want to sleep, i seriously cannot tolerate. even if the light is on i cannot make myself to go to sleep. my idea of a perfect sleep is to be in a cool and calm atmosphere with no voices maybe just the faraway voices of any dogs barking or cats mewing out in a distance before i go into my world of dreams...

I can sleep with music on. As long as it is music that is soothing. If it was screaming music or something annoying, then I wouldn't be able to sleep with it on.

My mother enrolled me at the age of 6 on piano lesson at the same time ballet. But we don't own a piano that's why I did not continue to study piano. I become a ballet dancer since then.

I love music so everytime I go to sleep, the music must be turned on. I can sleep into whatever kind of music is playing, hardcore, dance or whatever it is, it relaxes me and makes me sleep. I know some friends too who can't sleep while the music is on because they are tempted to sing the song. Everyone of us really has different preferences.

I can sleep with music on, tv being on as well as the lights being on. Its not hard for me my body was train to sleep through those things since I was a little girl. What I can't sleep through is people talking I mean real people talking I can't adjust how soft our loud they are talking like I can with the tv, or radio.

I have a 15 month old so you kind of learn to sleep through certain things after a while. I can't do people talking in the same room and our darn baby monitor can pick up nearly anything with in 30 feet of it which sucks since we live in an apartment built in the 70's so you can pick up people on the weekend talking outside. It's annoying when your trying to sleep.
