How do you teach your children to enjoy their lives?

If you think about the things in life that are different now to the way that they were when we were growing up, you must think about the ways in which you can teach your children to enjoy their lives.
For me, I think I would encourage my children to appreciate the place where they live, and make sure that they always respected other people around them.
If they have fun without hurting people then that's okay, but I would always want them to lead good and honest lives.
What about you? How would you encourage your children to have fun in their lives?

I think encouraging hobbies that they enjoy is a good way to bring enjoyment in their lives. Also, going back to the basics every now and then, like going for a picnic at the park and playing some football or just even outdoor games helps gets kids and adults away from technology and remind them of the great things in life(even away from the glow of a screen!)

Yes I think that having hobbies is a very important thing in children, as it helps them to realise who they are and develop their own personality. I always believe that each child in the family should be able to do something that sets them apart from the other siblings and makes them feel special. For me, I was involved in music and started attending a youth brass band, whereas my brother was more involved in sport and played football. This meant that we both had our talents, but they were in different areas so there was never any rivalry involved.

I don't have any children because I am just 18 and a children of my parents too. The way I keep myself happy is I try to make myself happy with what I have , I don't expect more from other. If I goes to enjoy my life I think today is the first day of my life and if I goes to acheive something then I think today is the last day of my life, and I love to do whatever I like and I like whatever I do.
Thanks

Being happy with the things that you have is almost certainly one of the most valuable lessons that you would be able to learn during the course of your life. I have far too many friends who waste their lives thinking about the things that they feel as though they should have that are better than what they actually have, and it can waste a lot of energy by thinking in this way. So I don't bother doing this anymore, and I would always teach my children to be thankful for the things that they have, and to work hard for the things that they don't.

I will provide a good quality education for them by sending them to a good school where they will learn a lot of things. By getting a good education, they will simply enjoy a lot of fun.

I am starting to think about where I would like to send my children to school now, and there are a lot of things that you have to think about! I would actually love to be able to send my children to a private school, but the only one that is in my area has very high fees and I just know that I wouldn't be able to afford that amount at this present time. However, I would do anything to be able to give my children the start in life that they deserve, as I believe that a good education could be the difference between success and failure in our young children.

I am always busy and very creative, so are my kids. We create things whole day on. Already started with that as they were 2 years old (perhaps earlier). It's the same with drawing, painting, reading. They don't care about expensive stuff, find it great to make something out of garbish and get a lot of compliments about that. They love to help cooking and cleaning as well and are full of life. I don't think they need much teaching if it comes to how to enjoy their lives. They love to travel as well, make pictures, write scrapbooks etc etc. They are still happy if they get a candy or piece of chocolate, seldom watch tv. I think they live their lives the fullest and I hope it will always stay like that.

I think that being creative is an important thing to encourage in children, because it means that they are learning how to express themselves which is important as they go through the course of their lives. When I was younger, I remember really enjoying making cards and presents for my family around birthday times, and making something seemed a lot better than buying something from the shop would have done. It is a lot more personal and means that your child can add to their creative skills at the same time which is obviously an added bonus.

Dear ,
I do not have children but if I did I would teach them to love life by praying and respecting god, enjoying hobbies that they love and caring for others.I would want them to play outside as much as possible and be with their friends.I would want my children to be very social an not get into the popular crowd at school and instead meet good honest friends. I would want then to help others a lo by donating their books and toys and time and helping those in need.

Caring for others is certainly a very important thing that our children need to learn, and there are far too many people who choose not to teach their children this rule and I think that it is very sad. I don't like it when I see old people standing up on a bus and young people choosing not to get up and let them take their seat. I think that people should learn respect at a young age as this will continue with them through life, as it should, but it is up to the parents to teach them this before it is too late to do so.

I have taught my children that the world is an exciting place to visit. In their lifetimes so far they have been able to travel to many different places. In 2007 I took my disabled son to Portugal, to the Baltic countries in 2008 and to South Africa in 2009. My daughter was born in 2009 later that year. We traveled to Canada in 2010, to Colombia in 2011 and to Argentina, Chile, Brazil plus Uruguay in 2012. I think as my kids get older they learn a lot from traveling and enjoy it such a great deal. I take them out on educational and lovely days out to places of interest. I give them toys which appeal to their interests and play with them.

I would leave them to walk stray in the amlls ,to ejoy coke in KFC ,McDonalds and Burger king .The best part of course I will subscrie them to chat with others and to receive money for that on certain sitesI heard there was a site where they pay 50 cents for chatting. It was called chat2chat. It was done only for English.Maby financial motivation will help them to enjoy the live. WWW.us.toluna.com gives a lot of rewards. For 150 points you receive flip floppers.
