Lady GaGa - Better Live In Concert or On HBO Special?

i had the awesome luck to see her live in her monster ball tour a month or so before her HBO special came out. i know a lot of people loved the special but to me i liked it live more but for different reasons than most. in the hbo special it showed beind the scenes stuff which i know some people LOVE but to me it killed some of the surprise! when i was at concert i didnt know she would pop up over here or be appearing in a crazy outfit from a different area etc but on the hbo special it shows her changing and sneaking off which in concert the dancers distract you and you dont even notice she disappeared then surprised when she shows up some where else. it also shows the whole pop up through the floor thing which in concert its awesome because you think she is being attacked to a sitting position just for her to fly into the air etc. of COURSE there is the obvious energy factor which her concert was so inspirational and life changing but to me on hbo she came off as fake and snobbish etc to the point i almost DESPISED her. if i had seen the hbo special first i wouldnt have even gone to the concert! i hate spoilers with everything (movies, books etc) so i guess behind the scenes is not for me but unfortunately i didnt know it was going to show it all till it started showing it lol. so do you like behind the scenes stuff so that watching a concert on tv is your choice or do you like it being live and surprised?
