The internet has given us a lot of things... But are they all good?

Hi there.. I can say that internet is good and bad.. All informations in the internet are man made.. We can say it is good because some of it gives us inspiration, knowledge and informations about anything,etc.., but some data in the internet is just made by men without any facts or lies, just for fun even it is not fun anymore, or inhuman, savage, brutish, etc..so this things are not helpful to us.

The internet definitely have a lot of advantages.We can't say that it is bad just because some people have used it unwisely.This is their own fault. A knife can be used by a surgeon to save a life.The same knife can be used to kill people.It depends on who uses it and how it is used.Internet is also like this.it can be a very informative,and fun and it can also be used to make money.So i'd say it really is good. I am also into gaming and chatting and all.But i am not addicted to it like so many people out there.Internet has helped in many many situations.

I don't think so. The internet has made many areas of life more convenient. However, I also think that the internet has had a negative impact on communication.Have a great day!

Hi Powerknit, nothing is good or bad about the internet. Even without internet, people will still gamble, play games, and do other things that waste time and money. It is the attitude of the people, not the tool that is bad or good. I think a day will come when people want to have a day or two without internet, so that they can recharge their energy.

the goodness and badness of internet is not the internet itself but the person on how he/she view internet. Internet gives us every information we need. it provides us knowledge about the world and within the universe.It gives us idea about the happenings around the globe. So, do not assume if it is bad or good for giving such lack evidences unless proven or stated.

The internet is a great and amazing thing and anyone saying otherwise is delusional. Sure, there a number of illegal activities that are more complex in nature, easier to do, and a much large audience to take advantage of. But the advantages the internet has put in place are astronomically high in comparison. Look at technology now, 10 years ago, 100 years ago, and a thousand years ago. The advances scale at such a ridiculous rate, and the internet has been a massive facilitator in this over the last 20-30 years.

Of course there is nothing with only positive face. We are bound to face the negative face also. The internet by now has given numerous things as you said. The things here refer to the knowledge, learning and so on. These are the good things that has been given to us. But in addition to that they have also sent some viruses, malwares and trojans. This is the face we are forced to face. But knowing all these faces, we must be aware enough to keep us away from them. They are good and bad only by the sense we use it.

There are advantages and disadvantages of the internet. Like technology, people have found easier means of communication, doing businesses, and other transactions that would require a lot of hard work. I believe it was made for the good purpose. Unfortunately, a lot of people are using it for their own selfish intention and not for the good. Hackers, scammers, and a lot more are doing their thing. Social media networking sites such as Facebook and the like gets flooded by these people. A lot of people also got addicted in gaming and all other unnecessary stuff on the internet. Well, it's really not that bad though but if you're not able to manage your time well because you are hooked up to it and you're addicted then I must say that you need to help yourself. Perhaps you need to go outdoors, get some fresh air and enjoy your day instead of just facing the monitor for some reasons. Internet and technology may given a lot of positive contributions to mankind but it also made a negative impact to some people. We all know and we understand this, I guess.
