Does Christianity Strike You as a Bit Too Lazy Sometimes?

"Do you love me, Peter?" "Yes, Lord, I do love you." "Then feed my sheep.... Peter, do you love me?" "Yes, I do." "Then feed my lambs.... Do you truly love me, Peter?" "Yes, you know I do!" "Then feed my sheep." That's a dialogue between the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ & Simon (whom He named Peter); it might be slightly paraphrased, but the point is that Jesus did NOT say 'Then praise my name every Easter Sunday and every Sabbath and all the other Holy Days and ... say my name a lot, especially in songs!' He said "Feed My Lambs/Sheep." I feel like I should "Search the Web" (see the top of every page) for the Hebrew translation of that and the roots of the words (which I feel I Jesus Christ was thinking of when He said them). Don't you think there's a way to actively love Jesus Christ that doesn't even involve His name (which doesn't involve 'calling HIM "the Lamb" and being done with it'!)?

Hello Mythociate, that is your choice, every one would have said and done the same thing, but you know as long a you know your faith. God would definitely understand it and he will believe it. but if it's really stricten that you should mention the name of Jesus Christ then i believe you should do so. there's no harm done knowing it was Him that saved us from sins

No!!! Christians aren't lazy! They have Halloween every week!!! Of course then there's the part where Christianity starts every major war that this world has known. That's not laziness that's creative. But then again I see your point. Christians use others to do all their dirty work and are just the masterminds of the whole evil that they brought into this world.

Ah yes; where would Satan be if it weren't for Christianity? Even the word "Satan" itself only means 'Adversary' ... maybe the one whom Christians call 'God' actually is the same being others call 'Satan'---he's certainly 'Satan' to all who would dare oppose him!
