Hi guys, I just want to get your opinion over this matter. My friend said that parents must send their kids to private school during their preparatory years and not to public school even it means of spending much. Preparatory years tuition fee almost exceeds those of college tuition fees. What do you think?

I wounder why your friend had taken such decesion. Now a days teachers from the kerala syalabus put a great effort to make hudred percentage pass to their school and in my locality most of them had achived it , which shows the current efforts put forward by the student to make all of them to pass. From this itself we could understand the dedication they had done for the children.

Yes I agree with you when it comes to the dedication and qualifications of the teachers in the public schools even here in the Philippines. But according to my friend, if you send your kids in the private school during their primary years, they are most probably scholars during their college years. I really don't know the difference yet since I, myself was a public school student and I even graduated with flying colors during my college years.

Then why don't you correct your friend by taking yourself as an perfect example to tell you friend that public schools are good ?

She's firm when it comes to decision making but yes I told it to her. Maybe her opinion was because of her own observation with the public schools in the vicinity which is crowded. I respect her decision anyway. Happy mylotting!

I think it odes not matter that much- since some public school are good school anyway, they just have to do some research which schools are good. But when kids are still young they should be given proper education since these years are crucial- they absorb everything... So maybe it is better to choose private schools that have good reputation.

Perhaps its really true that in private schools they are more focused on the students due to limited number of population. That is why my friend is sending her son to private school. thanks for your response!

It really does not matter where the child goes to- as long as it is a good school and they do not just play and talk there. These are the forming years of a child, what he learns and experiences here will affect his life.. So the child should be taught well.

We have our own reason why we want to send our child to a particular school. For me, there's no problem about that. If a parent want to send his child to a private school then he must first know and consider the things he might need to comply before he will send his child to that school. Commonly, private school demand higher fees than of that in public school. Whether you are going to send your child to a private school or to a public school, your child will still learn and that's the common thing there. I think your friend has it's own experience why he had told you that parents must send their child to a private school.

Hello maybe her real reason is the number of students in the public school. Private schools has limited number of students which give the teacher the opportunity to focus on their students. Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. Happy mylotting!
