God come before family? Are you serious?

let me put it this way; if your beloved son or daughter needed God to intervene in a crisis, who would you call out to if you were religious? By putting the things of God before all, we are actually putting those we love on a higher step. It does not mean we neglect the needs of our family to put God first. It means we recognize that all good things ultimately come from God, so putting Him first, actually benefits our loved ones.

God puts His family first. Perhaps we should follow God's example. We must all remember that God is above the petty things of mankind like the petty need to be worshiped. What matters most is our growth and who we are. Taking care of your family is a good thing. One can still pray wherever they are. Prayer can be as simple as a thought. God hears it all. One does not have to be in any specific place to be with God.

But if you put your family before god, doesn't god smite you and your family for multiple generations?

God came before family because he is the omnipotemt Loed.

Neglecting responsibilities relating to family and spending time praying is done only by those who are lazy. As just sitting and praying and wanting others to believe that they are choosing God before their duty towards family is done by many and this should be discouraged. Work is worship and that is what God wants us to do.

God should be not only be first but be everything in all aspect of our lives. I mean, whether in our family life or love life or career, they all should revolve around God's will and plan in our lives. I don't think we should rank God as part of our priorities in our lives, because He should be the "life" of our lives. :)

No comparison here, the worship of God is required, and care for the family and we also have to give God the right of worship .. And care for the family, this is its right
