although i have read often times how we should cut down or avoid those things, i still long or crave for those things. as of now i am just eating instant noodles. it is high in sodium for sure. but it tastes great. i hardly eat noodles. but i can't resist the temptation to eat for now. specially i don't see food i would like to eat in our kitchen. so for some light meal , i have a instant noodle. if i get rich i would buy a lot of healthy food. as they are more expensive.

If you cook/prepare everything yourself it's not. I use about 2 pounds of salt in ... years. I think about 6 pounds of sugar in one year and mostly if I bake a pie or so or it's for the visitor. Without you taste the real food, many different flavours but you have to be able (again) to do so. Fast food is prepared differently also a lot of adds that makes you want to eat more. if you eat enough fruit you will see the need for sugar/candies etc will disappear (you can eat raisons instead if you feel that need). But it will take about 3 weeks or more to get that far. Also real orange/fruit juice can help with that. Healthy food is (weird) enough more expensive so you have to look for what is cheap at the moment. You also will eat less as soon as your body is used to it, without having a lack of anything. A home made soup with fresh vegetables (you don't really need meat for that) is healthy too btw, so is yoghurt, 2 pieces of fruit/vegetables must be possible too. See what you can skip (don't need to buy anymore if you live more healthy) I think in the end you will spend less money.

yes it is better to eat food that you cook your self than just buy things at fast food. so i may have to prepare a lot of health food and eat before i go out so i won't crave for foods outside.

Yes, it is definitely hard to eat only healthy food because we have been used to instant and delicious foods. WHy do those food high in preservatives have to taste so good anyway? And it is quite unfair that the healthier food are expensive.

I want to cut these things from my diet so badly, but I can never seem to cut them out completely, and I feel so bad for it.

I do believe that it is really hard to cut down or avoid those stuff. But here is my suggestion. We can't avoid them right? Might as well limit the intake of sweet and salt.

Believe me it is hard for many people. My mother needs to lose weight big time, but she says she just loves sweets, and I think she tries to live on them sometimes. It takes a lot of self control, but you can develop this if you really put your mind to it.

I hardly can live without herbal additives. I constantly become hungry nwhen i do not have them. I am constantly on a diet.My mother wants me to et slimmer. I weight about 140 kilos, so these herbal additigves help me stay on a diet.I eat too much sugar, salt and pepper. However I heard somewhere tthat you should fry pper in oil with some chilly sauce and after sevral months you will stop eating additives chilli ro whatsover. It's ture . i tried on my own.I think i will become firends with English people. They do not have additives at all. I eat too much garlic and I adore it.
