My head aches to the maximum level! I went to mall with my son. Its very hot outside and it such a relief when we got inside. The minute I got home, I took a paracetamol but it still hurts. I Its been three hours since I took it but no such relief. What medicine do you usually take for headaches?

Hi, Welcome to mylot. I don't have frequent head ache problem. I have this problem when I have cough and cold or fever. I take paracetamol for getting relief from headache. I know that pain killers are not good for our kidney. But I take it very few times.

Are you a chronic suffer from headache? I think it might be due to alternate hot and cold environment. You need not worry at all. You may use an umbrella while going outside during scorching heat outside.

I have had migraine problems since my teens but paracetamol has never helped me get relief from the pain. As you mentioned, even hours after taking the medicine my headache remains the same. I have been advised a medicine called Fluner 10 by the doctor. This has to be taken continuously over a few months and it helped me a great deal. But as soon as I stopped it, the pains have returned.

Welcome to Mylot Jewelsam.. I think you are currently having a migraine headache and these wont just go off with a paracetamol. Some take avamigran, go to a cool place and turn the lights off. I hope you get well soonest.

Does your doctor recommend paracetamol? Note that paracetamol is another name for acetaminophen. An overdose can give you kidney problems. So, ask your doctor about another cure that could work.
