i had found the way to serve my country

I am a volunteer of a non-governmental charity organization for 14 years. I am serving people who needs immediate help. Our organization serves medical mission everyday, free medicines and there are cases that we pay hospital expenses. We also serves free legal assistance (attorney-free of charge) We have orphanages for street children and orphan. We have home for the aged and soon to be- babies care home. We have "transient house" the first and only transient house in the Philippines. We have rescue team, free ambulance and medics. We have free school for deserving students (free uniforms,school supplies, free food plus allowance) And our organization is the biggest "blood donor" in the Philippines. We have regular donors every 3 months the last "blood letting" we have donated more than 2,000 bags of blood. I am proud to be a part of this organization. I am able to help and reach the people on my own little way.

That's good and wonderful good.For me,if i am in great position in whatever course, i will do help people to share any thing that make them happy life. If i am rich, i will share my money,etc. If i am a doctor, i will help those who suffer,and from famine etc.But God must be there always .

Wow, congrats wonderboy,,, you are soon to be a doctor! Well hope that you will still be here even if you are already working as a doctor! With regards to your question, well I still don;t know what to do to help the nation.. but maybe in simple ways of helping someone in need.

Doctor is a great profession. When I was a high school student, I wanted to be a doctor in the future, but I could not make it because I was not good at science and could not take the science college entrance examination but art instead. Now I work as a teacher and I love my job as a teacher and I am happy to teach those teen students. I teach them all I know. So this is my way to serve my country. Take care, friend.

hi thewonderboy yes that's a w onderful goal and I am sure you will make it as you are doing it for all the right reasons., I remember another young who wanted to be a doctor because doctors made a lot of money and he wanted to own a rolls royce. I have not seen any discussions from him in months.I worked all my life helping others as a nurses aide.I am now retired and enjoying my retirement mylotting like crazy. I did my dues so now its up to others.my son works in electronic repair of exercise machines.

future doctor. good for you and good for the public, well hopefully you will become a doctor that will serve both the poor and the rich and won't bill people sooooo expensively..as some doctors do that...plus there are doctors who will just take a peak and then they have a result / observation already. lazy ones. as for my own kids, we are hoping they will turn out to be responsible adults as well..as for how they will serve the nation, that is one thing they need to find out depending on their own decisions. We are just teaching them and guiding them to the right path... though one of my kid wants to be a soldier..

Two thumbs up for such a good citizen of your country. I hope all students will have a thinking just like yours. I am a teacher and I have the power to lead the younger generation into a promising generation. Together with their parents, I help them cultivate their mind. I hone their talents and skills to be an asset of their own country. I provide them knowledge and wisdom that serve as their foundation on their life ahead. I help each students in my class to be enlightened on what they want to attain in their future. As their second parent, I give all my best so that once they are already in the position where I am now, they will also do same to those another generation.

Currently i don't have a nice thinking like you. I just try to be a good citizen only, who can earn money and serve my living only. Living right now is really hard, and i just think of earning enough money for my living, i can't think too many things else. You have a nice thinking of serving your country. I hope you will be a good doctor in the future.

You are in very good profession. You can do either the noble works for others or earn huge sum of money. But when you balance between these two you could shine in your profession and also help needy people. It is easy to say the statement that to use the profession for needy people and to help the poor. But reaching those people with your profession you need to earn some money. I am also in the same profession and experience speaks.
