How come lazy people always come up with crazy ideas???

It is not really funny, it maybe right... The lazy people will have a special idea to solve the problem because their goal is to be lazy back as soon as possible.

In my opinion, there are two kinds of lazy people. One kind of them are lazy and smart people. They are lazy, they don't want to do so much boring work, so they thinnk hard to have a simple way to do something that the so-called diligent people like to do without thinking a better way.They are smart,they can be lazy.In a way many things are made by those who are lazy physically but diligent mentally.

It's very simple.. They are used to such ideas... They are lazy by nature. So from day 1 they must be into finding simple ways of completing the jobs. With time, this becomes their habit and the 'thinking capacity' increases... This process takes place in their childhood itself. When they take up some responsible positions or say, forced into such posts, they naturally think that way. It comes spontaneously to them... You can also develop such a talent... Just try being lazy for few months... not completely.. just physically. Mentally, make some effort to find out simple effortless ways. Then after some time you'l also find that talent in yourself. Then on, such ideas will spring up in your mind just like that!! But when it comes to serious, hard working people, they will tend to do the work with perfection and for self satisfaction. This makes them choose complicated ways... as you know, perfection is not that easy to achieve. So, the way they choose is also the same way. It looks very tedious and time consuming....

Although I don't like the term "lazy", I agree with the statement. If you are forced to do a job you really dislike, after procrastinating you will find a way to get it done in the way that is easiest for you.

Yep, that is really funny and I must agree with it. It's a day to day experience for me, especially when I'm in class and the teachers/professors ask the students to do things and the students will suggest doing it in another way which is pretty hilarious that even the teachers couldn't help but laugh with us. Yep, we're lazy, and we'll do anything as long as we wouldn't be so tired.

I agree with ryanong, those lazy people want to finish to job or what they are doing as soon as possible to come back of being lazy again, so they have a better idea or a shortcut way of doing job/work easily. Also, if you're lazy you're one of the most open-minded person, because you can think easily without doing anything. Lazy people think calmly so they end up on easiest way.

That is definately an interesting thought, and hey if it gets done, it might be a Great solution they are able to come up with as well. Some of the time they say that people who may seem lazy, are just bored, and if given something of a challenge as a task they will be able to do it well because to them it gives them satisfaction knowing someone else might find it a challenge as well. Just my thoughts.

While in some cases it may be true, in most cases in the world today this might produce a good idea but it would still take a lot of work to bring the idea to fruition. Left to the lazy person the idea would just die unless someone willing to do the hard work got a hold of it and made it work or came up with it on their own. As a scientist I have had my lazy moments but had to overcome them to get my degrees and obtain the knowledge to pursue the innovative ideas I came up with. I'll add my appreciation of your photo to what was mentioned before.

Yeap i see what you mean, I remember a friend who was kind of lazy (kind of :P) who always came up with the most unbelievable ideas for jobs, from a music band till a manager :P

If I had to think in Charles Darwin's way, lazy people get more time to use their brains when compared to active folks. So theirs are more advanced then the rest (theoretically). They use it..in a way so that they can relax and laze again.

Well i have heard this one too.It is really funny.But in a way it is true too.When we are feeling lazy,we too try to do something in a easier manner.

Haha, yeah this is something really interesting. Now that I think about it, I realise why I'm having good ideas from time to time 8-). Probably lazy people feel despairous about having to do any hard work, so they squeeze the hell out of their brain, till they come up with an alternative and easier way.. or maybe, since they are lazy and don't have anything to do all day, they have a lot of time to think about revolutionary ideas that make their lives easier. xD

interesting.. I had this chat today already in person.. if you want some solution, something done, ask a lazy person. I don't know if it's funny but fact is, you won't get that tired at all and it's worth trying.

hi Soniasony I guess because all the good ideas have be taken and the only way, not to be tossed overboard is to be inventive. This is really funny. But so true, I mean its only logical because since he or she is lazy, he or she would come up with an idea to do the job the best possible way doing it the least stresddful way. This might be due to lots of time on hand. Or maybe due to creativity in nature. They want to find the easiest way to get it done fast.

This is really funny.And the funniest thing is that it's oh so very true.The laziest person I know,my uncle,has the best ideas ever and he always makes me think about things differently but if anyone hears him most of the time they'd think he's totally lost it. I think this is because lazy people think more and do less and when they do something they try to think of a way to make said thing easier so they don't have to put effort in doing them and that's how those crazy ideas are born.I,no matter how ashamed I am of it,am quite lazy myself and when I think of all the things I've tried to save myself some trouble I usually think "What the hell was I thinking at that moment?" .We shouldn't forget that some of the greatest inventions were created because someone was feeling lazy.Like the car,for example,we have it because we wanted to make moving from one place to another easier. Same thing with a lot of machines which replaced many humans with their activities.I guess in the end what I learned from this discussion is tat laziness can be more productive than I ever thought possible.
