Hi MyLotters I was just wondering if anyone knew any yoga routines for menstruation cramps/pain. I get bad pains and sometimes pain killers dont work so i want to try a different approach to it. I'd be really grateful if someone would tell me. Blessed you be

Try not to eat acidic foods when your menstruation is coming. Like, soy sauce, vinegar, chili, etc. That's what I do always when my period is coming. Now, I don't have to deal with cramps or pain.

There are a lot of different moves that help me out, as I also have bad periods that need extra attention we shall say ;) If you get lower back pain, downward dog, works well to stretch out the back. Just put your feet shoulder with apart on the ground, and then put your hands also shoulder length on the floor. Your body should make an upside down u or v shape. If you have pelvic pain, I find doing the butterfly stretch works best. Sit with the bottom of your feet together so that your legs make two v's into each other...this stretches your body from side to side. For an extra stretch, try to get your heels in as close to possible to your body, or lie down while in this position.
