Getting an online job: worth it or not?

I've been searching for an online job for two weeks. And I signed up for a lot of online job post ads. But it seems like everyday I'm becoming more and more frustrated due to several factors. I have a regular job. But I'm so exposed to web surfing so it came up to my mind the possibility of earning money through online. At first, I have full of hopes because web is too broad for an internet user like me. Internet is very reachable. People who own smartphone can even make transactions easily by just one click. But what makes it hard? The fact that you have to open too unrestricted sites means it isn't safe to visit, sign up and share your private information to those websites. Now, going back to the online job. I tried the captcha typing jobs. And at first I was full of hope because I could see my work and earnings at the same time. I also read so many positive feedback about this site only to find out that they are just scammed. So now here I am in myLot trying to find my luck. So do you think this is worth it or not?

The problem with an online job is the other six billion people who want one too! The whole world cannot earn online - you KNOW that! Keep your regular job and be satisfied with the small rewards of mylot.

I don't have plans to quit my job or something. I just want to take this chance since most of my time I frequently use the internet. Why not use it to get some extra cash?
