Crappy people

Recently, I was a witness to my bosses' crappy treatment towards someone else in our team, simply because she does not like her. I feel that this is a case of "abuse of power". She is a wolf in sheep's clothing! I honestly don't get what people get out of being so mean. Why can't people just learn to get along, even if it's with someone they may not like? What ever happened to being professional in the workplace? Or morals & values for that matter?

Well, to be honest, I never worked hard in my life, at least until now. However I believe that courtesy and humanity are two very important factors for a concept of mutual respect. Of course, unfortunately, you know, the workplace, as elsewhere, are not always the people who treat us with courtesy. This I regret very well because I tried it first-person and I know what it means to be humiliated. However, having said that, a society most human, it is still possible!

I also experienced being hate by my manager before..I don't know what he's problem with me..everyday in our workplace, he always scolded me..he's so unprofessional..they demand respect from us, well in fact, they don't know how to respect others..whatever highest degree they got from a university, if they have crappy attitude, they still like the ones who are uneducated..

Power corrupts people. I guess she felt so powerful and used her position to be mean to the other person. I also feel the same way about people being mean.

Umh, that boss is not good, she abuses her boss power for her private things. And for sure it is not nice for all. Hope that woman should be change her behavior to be professionally in work place.

Some people are in the wrong position. When they become bosses, they think they are allowed to do whatever they want and be mean to other, just because they have power now. Or they were treated the same way earlier, and this is how they try to return the "favor". That's a huge mistake. I'm sorry to hear you have bosses like that

Sadly these days power overrides all else. We have a new assistant manager who treats us all like crap. She and I got in an argument one day when she demanded I "respect" her and I told her, "If you start respecting me, I'll start respecting you." After that she's treated me some better, but one of my good friends at work she is utterly HORRID to. I hate it! We've tried talking to the store manager but he just told us "Thats just her personality." Well, her personality is crappy.

If she is the boss, she is probably on a power trip and believes she can do whatever she feels like to this person since they are 'under' her. May not be right, but I doubt that person can do much about it except talk to HR and let them know there is a conflict. Even then though, it ultimately comes down to the boss saying whatever they need to in order to save themselves and fire the other person.
