yesterday May 2, 2012 is declared as Labor day here in the Philippines, so i had the time to bond with my son Joaquinne.
During the morning i was able to let him walk outside the house. He was surprisingly able to walk with one hand holding me. his feet were very strong.
after walking outside, we ate our lunch. I gave him fried fish and soup. after having lunch, we took a shower, since it is hot, i made him a swimming pool a little one. he was very fun of splashing into the water. after taking a shower, We took a nap.
and then when he woke up, I thought him some new words like mom-mmm-yy and dadd-dd-dd-yy and it was so cute that he's just saying what is say. and then he bit me and i said no! that's bad and i wiggled my head saying noooo! and he did what i did, he also wiggled his head i was laughing at him really. it's very cute.
After playing with him i decided to go to the mall with his dad and have some groceries. since he is now able to walk i just held his one hand, he was like what's this stuff. he's pulling every toys he sees. I just bought him new clothes.
We came home by 5pm and then we ate snacks, and then played again. He's very responsive now really.
When i tell him to get something, he does it.
It's just so proud in my part that he's getting bigger without me noticing it because I'm working as well as his dad. but quite guilty in my part that i do not see his first responses but it's okay I know i need to work to support his needs.
How about you guys, any cute moments you can share with you and your kids?

I'm glad yo got to spend the day with your son!
I had the same feelings of being proud but a little sad when he did new things because I had to work a lot and did not get to spend the time with him like I wanted to.
He is 2 years old now and growing SO fast.
He made me laugh today when we went to his gramma's house. He was hunting bugs with her. There is a type of bug that lives under the bricks that we call rolly pollys. He was playing with one and I asked him, "What do you and Nanna have?" and he said,
"It a rowy poggie poggie" (okay, its somethign you kind of had to hear to get, but I still thought it was cute.)

hahaha. that's very cute. it's funny when you hear your kid say new words. my kid use to say "byieee" whenever i pick our bag and goes to work. his dad was really shocked when he heard our son said goodbye to him. my son's turning 1 on the 13th. I'm excited to see my kid grow up like yours. =)

Oh, your little one is still so young! Even though he is only 2 I miss him being younger.
When my son sees me put on my work clothes (kakhi pants and a black shirt) he'll run and grab my pocketbook and say, "Mama go wook!"

yes he's too young. good thing your son don't cry when you leave him. when my son saw me doing make-up, he'll grab my make up kit and throw it away. and when he saw me get dress he'll cry because he knows i'm gonna leave him again for work.
